Chilling out in Genting Highlands...

We celebrated hubby's birthday in Genting Highlands.

As a BNM retiree I had the opportunity to stay at the executive resort in Awana Genting. We spent three days/2 nights relaxing and Jalan-jalan Cari Makan, commuting between GPO and the summit trying out good eateries. Even on weekdays, Genting Highlands are crowded with locals and foreign tourists.

I am expecting to gain a few kg after this.

It’s that time of the year again!

I remind myself every year on this special day how blessed I am to have been given another year to experience the wonders of this beautiful world! Thank you Allah for all the blessings of lots of love, good health and abundance of wealth.

Today I spent my 61st birthday with dear hubby, watching the sunset at the beach of Koh Lanta, Thailand.

My 60th birthday present...

It is another three months to my 60th birthday, and already I am feeling old and fragile...

Since the beginning of the year, hubby and I have been thinking of looking for another car to replace my old one. For 5 years I have used my car with no complaints. The car is still in the best of condition and with excellent road performance. Our initial plan is to buy a two-seater convertible or a sports car to sit for just the two of us. But I being old school, would prefer a more comfortable one. And our grand-children would love the sun-roof and entertainment units at the back.

I guess it's not too early to have my birthday present now.

Tonight we celebrated our 35th Anniversary and Iwan’s birthday at Victoria Station, Petaling Jaya. It was not that crowded but we didn’t manage to get the seats in the cabin.

While the adults ordered our favourit dishes, the three grandchildren played among themselves, shouting and jumping oblivious of the surrounding.

We are blessed to have so many good things in life… Alhamdulillah…

My 58th birthday...

Today is my birthday and I am celebrating it at my parents house in Melaka. My two sisters, nephews and nieces came over and bought KFC and a birthday cake to share the moment with me.
