Eagle...

Eagle is the new chairlift attraction at Arthurs Seat,
replacing the old Arthurs Seat Chairlift...
This is the sign above the restaurant at the lower end of the chairlift...
(My posting is later than usual because I was waiting for sunlight in the right position
- late this afternoon)

when skies are blue...

skies over a main intersection at Sorrento...
The road in the lower portion of the scene leads to Portsea
and a left turn from the intersection leads to the coast road to Dromana...

when skies are blue

seem close

festival last year...

at this time last year, there was sunlight in the street at the 2015 Mornington Spring Festival...
Hopefully, next weekend, there will be sunshine like this for the annual festival.
It is wonderful to see the street crammed with wonderful market stalls and music...

a fishy seat...

one of many stylish seats in the main street of Mount Eliza...
Mount Eliza is on Port Phillip Bay,
so it is no real surprise to find the outline of a fish or reclining mermaid in the backs of these seats...

car parked in the main street of Dromana...
I have seldom seen a car in this colour combination...
Perhaps the car celebrates Australia's sporting colours of green and gold?...

spring festival...

a view of Mornington's main street
before crowds surged in at the recent 2015 Mornington Spring Festival...
It is a time when local wines, foods and crafts are on display and for sale
and the street is filled with music...

This is one of several signs close to the detailed point of interest....
