Fashion houses and international brands propagandize sustainability and consumption for better consumer base, where as originally sustainable local-based craftsmen still stay in the shade. Four communities/local designers are selected from the countries through the method of purposive sampling. Qualitative analysis is the basis of the research as we performed personal interviews and in-depth analysis of the communities to diagnose the problems and subsequently devise the solutions. In this research, we have studied and analyzed the problems faced by hereditary communities and ethnic designers in small and medium scale enterprise sector from two emerging economies. After the grounding the difficulties faced we advised strategies for sustainable future growth to the companies. The current academic literature on small and medium scale enterprises highlights the problems and solutions for general industry sectors. This paper brings attention to fashion communities and designers who promote national heritage and are struggling to survive in emerging economies due to indus-trialization and globalization. Moreover the comparison of the two geographies is unique in nature.

Further explored ways of 3D technologies application in fashion industry. Prototypes of jewellery are produced in 3D software to compare image with equivalent of 2D advertising. As per application in clothes industry, full body scan was made and fashion prototypes were created directly in virtual space. By such application was argued possibility of individualization of promotional process

Despite the widespread of techniques in western countries, such cultures as Ukraine still trouble to adopt system due to low flexibility of proposed methods. Research is designed to analyze current empathic methods and propose correlations to adopt those for Ukrainian consumers.

Industry constantly faces rapid developments in technologies and implementation of new approaches, what in response distinguishes the necessity of educational system upgrade in order to prepare competent professionals at the end of studies. In close scope was analyzed process of competences’ formation on the example of fashion education in the higher educational institutions. In particular, were discussed expeditious changes and recent innovations, which have introduced 3D technologies and their expanded use in fashion industry,
what, as a result, have created necessity to the development of new competences in fashion education. Consequently theory was developed, based on the assumption that competences can be static and dynamic, where dynamic are presented by flexible and steadily reformed disciplines. As the practical implementation, example of 3D technologies usage by students of Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy was examined. On the basics of analyzed material, were proposed methods of curriculums’ creation, which will allow extrapolation and adoption of
continual changes in the industry.

The basic groups of competences for the specialists of sewing industry have been rationalized.
The main differences in competences’ formation for the vocational schools were found following the analysis of different Europeans curriculums. Besides that, were proved that diversities complicate middle ranking workers’ mobility and possibility of job connection beyond their country significantly.
As a result, the alternative variant of competences’ allocation has been proposed.

On this article made comparable analysis of all previous finding as per application of 3D technologies in fashion. Made in-depth analysis of historical background of 3D forms of fashion promotion (Pandora dolls which succeeded fashion magazines), additionally explored psychological reasoning of such approach: humans preference of tangible objects; as well as current ways of 3D display on dummies. Some examples of realized projects are described
