Applying the sociometric method, antefactum and postfactum of the moment of implementation of the independent variable, consisting of a group of categories of motor games and sports games, it is found that this has a greater impact on puberty than on childhood. The results of the study determine the necessity that, in order to maintain a favourable social climate in the teaching and learning process, the didactic approach must be differentiated, both in its quantitative and qualitative aspects.

For this, we applied a specific questionnaire to three groups of children enrolled in preparatory class of primary school. From these, one group did not participate in chess learning lessons, and the two other, performed introductory chess lessons 1h/week, respectively 2h/week, for 27 weeks. At the end, testing through the questionnaire showed significantly better results for the indicators targeted at those who practiced systematically chess game, especially since the volume of learning activity was higher.

The premise of our experimental study started from the belief that physical education is one of the disciplines which might substantially contribute to the pupils' personal and social development. The experiment we conducted, consisted in implementing, in the physical-education lessons, a set of 6 categories of motor skill games, applied to the 9 th-10 th grades, for three semesters, with a view to improving the group cohesion, as well as the participating pupils' interpersonal relations and personality traits. The research data highlighted the efficiency of our teaching approach, leading to the conclusion that the higher cohesion of the class of pupils, the improvement of the interpersonal relations, and the development of the personality traits-all these may be achieved by adequately taking over several categories of motor skill games, originating in non-formal education.

This highlights the versatility of the directed motility field and hence of the school subject "Physical Education In this article, we provide an efficient way, experimentally verified, for proper implementation in the formal training system, of new types of learning activities based on different types of motive games. The social learning program that we applied in school practice, demonstrates that physical education, in addition to the benefits it brings to the student, concerning improving physical fitness, maintaining health, motive capacity building and harmonious physical development presents real potential of full action upon the personality of young people as well, people involved in continuous institutional training.

The sum of the points obtained by applying the questionnaire regarding the satisfaction of the students in relation to the quality of the teaching act of the trainee teacher was 123.02, a value that falls between 160-105 points, the fact that the students have a very good perception and appreciate the didactic activity of mentees, who developed, following the mentoring program, a high level of skills necessary to teach the subject of Physical Education, in his initial professional training stadium. Along with the expansion and deepening of the professional skills of the staff, participating in a structured debut mentoring process, the effectiveness of the act of teaching the Physical Education discipline increases, a fact reflected by the student's satisfaction with the support given in his own training.

Based on this statement, our study aims to find out if there is a significant relationship between the two variables, in the context in which the BMI was determined on 160 subjects, selected from students aged 12-15 and who were subsequently included in 4 subcategories: underweight, normal weight, overweight and obese. For the assessment of muscle strength, we used handgrip strength and standing long jump (broad jump) (respecting the EUROFIT methodology). The results show a moderate positive relationship between the level of muscle strength development and BMI (rho = .44, p ≤ .01; rho = .43, p ≤ .01). Our data shows that there is a significant, moderateintensity connection between BMI and strength development, the subjects with excess weight (overweight and obese) having lower strength values compared to normal-weight subjects. Although some authors consider that only the relationship between BMI and strength does not provide conclusive data for predicting the health of adolescents, the results of our study still confirm the existence of an inverse relationship between BMI and muscle strength at overweight and obese subjects. Because the studies on this direction are not very numerous yet, we consider that other observational studies with a larger sample size, especially longitudinal and prospective studies, are necessary.

The question of this study is: the leisure sport activities have an impact on the index of quality of life, in adults? Methods: The study was conducted between October 2012, March 2013 on a sample of 500 adults, who responded to a survey questionnaire, for the evaluation of the quality of life, with the name Short form (SF – 36), of whom 318 individuals perform leisure sports activities and 182 do not perform this kind of activities. The age range of our subjects undergoing our research is 25–49 years. Results: Out of the total subject population, (N= 500), for those who practice sports activities (N= 318), quality of life is good for 51.1% and satisfactory for 45.9%. For the persons which do not perform sports activities (N=182), 49.5% ha...

The research method was the investigation. The tool used was a questionnaire especially created for this research that also contains the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Out of the 111 participants, 62.2% are men and 37.8% are women. Men make a great effort (>12 km/training) 2,229 days/week, compared to women, who make a great effort 1.46 days/week, resulting in a significant difference (t = 2.53, p <0.05). The results revealed a statistically significant correlation between the self-attitude changes by running and health changes (r=0.46, p =0.01) and between the self-esteem attitude changes by practicing running and the small intensity weekly effort (< 8km/workout), (r =0.218, p=0.05). Conclusions: we believe that in terms of encouraging people of all ages to practice ou...

The discovery phase involved 60 elite Turkish athletes (31 sprint/power and 29 endurance) and 20 ethnically matched controls. The replication phase involved 1132 individuals (115 elite Russian sprinters, 373 elite Russian endurance athletes (of which 75 athletes were with VO2max measurements), 209 controls, 148 Russian and 287 Finnish individuals with muscle fiber composition and cross-sectional area (CSA) data). None of the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) reached an exome-wide significance level (p < 2.3 × 10−7) in genotype–phenotype and case–control studies of Turkish athletes. However, of the 53 nominally (p < 0.05) associated SNPs, four functional va...

For this purpose, we developed and implemented a physical activity programme (PAP) that we carried out in students’ free time during the school year 2018–2019. The target group consisted of 79 students with excess weight, aged between 12 and 15 years, selected from an initial sample of 495 students from 5 pre-university education units located in an urban area. That group followed a differentiated PAP for 26 weeks. The impact of the programme highlighted the following points: the average physical activity/week for the entire sample of subjects was 3.67 physical activities, with an allocated time/week ranging from 1 h 30 min to 3 h; in terms of effort intensity, 7.70% of the activities were performed at low intensity, 75.07% at medium intensity and 17.23% at submaximal intensity. At the end of the programme, out of 79 subjects who were overweight/obese at the initial testing, 37 improved their b...
