Memorable Blooms Meets Textured Notes for a CASE the Designer Challenge!

I am finally sharing a card that I made, inspired by last month's Stampin Through the Catalog guest designer Nicole (@kreatives_papierwunder).  I used some of the new Online Exclusive products available this month to create my card -- specifically, the Textured Notes Dies (love the detail around the frames of these!) and the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.

The flowers and greeting are made with the Memorable Blooms Bundle.  I used watercolor pencils to color the flowers, using colors to coordinate with the colors I'd ink blended and splattered onto white card stock before embossing that layer.

Projects from Connie's and My New Catalog Open House

Happy Friday!  Last Sunday, Connie and I hosted a new catalog open house, and we each had two cards for our friends to create.

This one is designed and created by Connie, and it features the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, Mixed Florals Dies, Everyday Arches Dies, and Elements of Text:

Connie used adhesive sheets on the back of the floral die cut from the designer series paper to make adhering it to the card quick and easy!

Here is the other beautiful card Connie designed:

This card features the Wildflower Birthday Suite.  The colors and images in this suite are so pretty!   I haven't purchased this set yet, but this card is really making it hard for me to resist!  How about you?

My first card features products from the Delightful Wishes Suite Collection:

We used the vellum, designer series paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, and cute bee embellishments from the Suite to make this card.  The flowers are stamped on a piece die cut with one of the Wildflower Designs Dies.  Flower centers were made "3D" with enamel effects.

The other card I created is a shaped card, made with the Beautiful Bokeh Suite Collection:

I die cut the butterfly shaped card bases from note cards using the large butterfly die from the Suite.  There's a butterfly layer cut from the Beautiful Bokeh designer series paper from the suite layered on top of the base after stamping.  The gretting is stamped on another piece of designer series paper, and layered on a strip of the Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon (from the Storybook Moments Suite).  We also added sparkles from the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix, for the finishing touch!

Hope you enjoy these!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

SUper Friends January Swap Cards

Happy Valentine's Day!  Today seems like the perfect occasion to share the cards from our January SUper Friends swap.  Our theme for the swap was Valentine's, "something old, something new" or both!  I really enjoyed everyone's creativity with these themes and think you will, too!

Margery created this amazing purse card, which can fold flat to mail, and opens to reveal space for a gift card or treat and message inside:

Connie's beautiful card features layers of hearts, the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper, and lovely texture from embossing:

I love how Connie used the negative from the wreath heart die cut inside her card along with some stamping and a strip of the designer paper:

Jaya's gorgeous gatefold card features the lovely combination of the Meant to Be stamp set and Real Red and Basic White color combo:

Judy's soft and lovely card combines the new Beautiful Butterlies Bundle with the old Split Card Layers Dies.  I love how Judy layered some vellum behind the Split Card layer die cut in the card front, and added a beautiful layer of embossed paper underneath that for some soft color and texture peeking through the vellum (and hiding any message written for the recipient inside!):

Sheila created this sparkly, fun and pretty shaker card:

For her card, Kallien made this wonderful slimline with a coordinating envelope and inside:

Jane created an elegant diagonal flap fold card, which opens to reveal a hidden message.  I love how the soft colors and floral designer papers make this perfect not just for Valentine's but also for many other occasions:

Nancy's classy and romantic card features a beautiful heart doily and coordinating designer series paper, and opens to reveal a sparkly glimmer paper heart:

For my card, I decided to make a heart shaped easel card using the Otterly Amazing Bundle (an online exclusive) and Glimmer Paper hearts.  Hearts were cut with the Hearts of Elegance Dies:

Thanks so much to the SUper Friends for another excellent swap!  And, thank you for visiting my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these cards.

Marbled Elegance and Celebrate Love Card for Mystery Monday

I played along with TX Stampin' Sharon's Mystery Monday yesterday, and it was great fun, as always!  I decided to create a Valentine's card with the clues, and here is how my card turned out:

I used some two-tone card stock for the base and card stock layers, along with the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper and some pieces from the Celebrate Love Ephemera Pack.  I finished off my card with some Adhesive-backed Heart Sequins!

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these products!

SUper Friends January Gathering Make and Takes

This Sunday, my SUper Friends group gathered for some stamping fun, and as part of that, we created two projects.

The first project for our SUper Friends meeting was a quick and easy Valentine's card!

I'd die cut some hearts in advance with the Online Exclusive Hearts of Elegance Dies and some Poppy Parade and Basic White Card Stock plus some of the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper.  So, we just had to glue those together and add a sentiment from the Celebrate Love Mix and Match Ephemera Pack!

The white heart die cuts are actually cut over a fold, so they open to reveal a spot for a hidden message!  We did add another die cut on top of that mini card so it would be a "full" heart unlike the hinged piece.

Here is the second project that we made:

The idea for this card came straight from the page 13 of the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  The card uses the Heart Shaped Bundle from Sale-a-Bration along with the Linked Together Decorative Masks from the January to April Mini Catalog (to create the background).  I only lightly inked the background on the sample card I created, but decided after seeing everyone create their cards, that I really like the background to be a bit darker.  Which do you prefer?

Thanks for visiting my blog!
