Andrew K Touchstone

I was shocked and saddened to read on The Trad that Main Line Sportsman had passed. He had just left a comment on my latest post the night before he died. We had exchanged emails over the last few years about authors and artists we both enjoyed. I always envied his lifestyle and he always encouraged me to pick up a rod or gun and get back at it. From his blog you could see he was a loving and devoted husband and father. His moral base, honesty and sense of fair play made him one of those men who didn't have brag he was a man, you already knew that. Did I know him, I guess not really. But I knew about him. I knew his grip would be firm and his look into your eyes unwavering. And I know the world is a smaller place without him.

  1. That's a lovely tribute, even if you didn't know him, know him :)

  2. Yes, where are you, James? Did something terrible happen in your life and you no longer feel up to writing?
God forbid, you should think no one enjoyed your writing. Please come back.
