Any alteration in an original image in bad faith is called image forgery. Copy–Move (region duplication) is a common attack in which at least one part of an image is copied and pasted onto another area of the same image to add or remove an object. Detection methods use either block-based methods, or point-based methods. Here we propose a novel copy-move forgery detection scheme that can accurately localize the tampered regions. A new interest point detector is proposed in which the detected key points adaptively cover the entire image, even low contrast regions, based on the uniqueness metric. An adaptive matching is performed to find the similar key points. Moreover, a new filtering algorithm is utilized, which can effectively remove the falsely matched regions. Then the whole procedure is iterated regarding the prior information.

A three nodes network with two transceiver antennas on relay node is taken. In transmitting phase ZF (Zeroforcing) and MMSE (Minimum Mean Square) detecting techniques are used. In relay node forwarding network coding and Alamouti scheme are exploited together. Theoretical and simulative analyses prove that BER (Bit Error Rate) MMSE in transmitting phase is better than ZF and in relay forwarding MIMO alamouti outperforms the PNC (Physical-layer-network coding).

In this paper, a methodology for incorporating voltage sag ridethrough in the design of ASD's with active rectifiers is presented. The magnitude of the voltage sag for which ride-through can be provided is determined by the current rating of the active rectifier and load condition of the ASD, but a sag of any duration can be compensated for.

In this paper, a distributed generation based on stand alone wind energy conversion system (WECS) using a variable speed permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is proposed with PWM rectifier and a battery for storing the extra wind energy. Wind generation system has potential application for the grid support. The voltage of the direct driven permanent magnet wind generators (PMSG) is variable due to the intermittent nature of the wind energy. Fluctuating voltage and power is of major concern in the converter based grid connected wind generation systems. An inverter is essential for the interfacing of the wind source with the AC network. There are many possible inverter topologies and inverter switching schemes and each one will have its own relative advantages and disadvantages. Variable speed permanent magnet synchronous generators are used for maximum power extraction from the wind energy conversion system. This paper discusses the interconnection issues of these generators to local grid as per prevailing grid standards during healthy and fault conditions. The fault ride-through topology for PMSG has been demonstrated using MATLAB Simulink based simulation.

The introduction of distributed generation through renewable sources of energy has opened a chall... more The introduction of distributed generation through renewable sources of energy has opened a challenging area for power engineers. As these sources are intermittent in nature, variable speed electric generators are employed for harnessing electrical energy from these sources. However, power electronic control is required to connect these sources to the existing grid. The grid interconnection issues are to be dealt with before connecting these to the local grid. Power conditioners using self commutating devices are necessary to have grid friendly inverters. In this paper, the MATLAB based simulation studies have been done to realize a grid friendly inverter system for harnessing energy from a variable speed wind energy system. The system is designed for low harmonic injection into the grid and fast control of voltage so as to meet the IEEE standard-1547 requirements.
