Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

I accidentally on purpose have taken this week off from blogging to plan for Thanksgiving, clean my house, work on some quilt projects with deadlines, and cuddle my bunnies. Next week I'll be back with a new Moda Bake Shop pattern as long as the weather continues to cooperate for pictures. You might have seen this preview on Instagram!

Keep an eye on the Honey, Bunny, and Doll Etsy Shop on Black Friday for a big sample sale! I will try to post a link to that on Friday. It will mainly be throw sized quilts, but there will be some smaller quilts and at least one queen sized quilt if you're looking for gifts.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

November Stash Bee and #thanksmas

It's time for the last block of the year for the Stash Bee!

Cheri requested these fun Christmas candy cane blocks! I was able to make a dent in my green scraps which is always good in my book.

We also had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family. When my family isn't going to be together for Christmas we celebrate "Thanksmas" on Thanksgiving. So we put our trees up early and exchange presents between Thanksgiving dinner and dessert. It's a fun thing and means that I have to get all of my shopping done early!

My #thanksmas present from my sister and her husband! YAY!!!

I hope you all had wonderful Thanksgivings with your families and friends! :)

Turkey Trotting

I'm back in Pennsylvania after a fantastic time in Ohio and Michigan. And lots of time in the car in the last 7 days.

But my time at home was pretty relaxing, with lots of time spent hanging with my family and lots of time digging through my mom's scrap bin and sewing and hitting up quilt stores. Look at what I collected for my civil war quilt stash!

I collected the leftover fabric from one of my sister's projects to use for my own project. I bought two patterns from Cluck Cluck Sew on Black Friday when patterns were half off! I got the Seville and Basket Case patterns and I am going to use the fabric left over from her floral wall hanging for the Seville pattern. I am pretty excited.

I also have been making a large pile of snowball blocks of pinks, blues, and purples. I was originally just going to use them as snowballs, but I have been having some other ideas related to what the colors remind me of, but I don't want to give it away just yet. But I think I have almost a hundred of them.

Hope you are all recovering from your Thanksgiving festivities! Less than 30 days to Christmas!
