:: Some stuff from outer space ::

Today it´s my last blog post over at Pyssloteket. I have decided to step down from the Designteam after almost four years on the team. Here are the same cards that I´m showing over there. I have a  tutorial about how to make these backgrounds. Lots of photos today so stay all throw my post :)

I guess for a girl with no love for Distress Ink I have quite a lot of Minis ;)
You need Distree Ink pads, Blending Tool and white paper. I use Perfect Coloring Paper from Copics.

For my first Cosmo scene I start with a light color - Tumbled Glass. I make both soft and sharp strokes with the Blending Tool.

My next step will be a bit darker color - Broken China.

To get even more depth I select one more blue shade - Peacock Feathers.

I think it looks cool with some green shades so I choosed - Cracked Pistachio.

The last step will be to use Black Soot on all white space. Although it can be a good idea to save some white areas to make it more realistic looking.

Let´s try one more color combination! Here I choosed Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I also saved a white space beteween the colors.

Now my backgrounds need some stars!

You will get best coverage with white Acrylic Paint and a few drops of water. You can also used some white Mist or why not both?

Now they are ready to be transformed into cards!

For my two cards here I used the background technique. I also used metallic Cardstock from Pyssloteket. I used gold for the first card and silver for the second one. To get super nice stamp images I used my Misti. The text stamps are from Lawn fawn and called Lucky Stars.

And some Clen and and Simple ATC in blue shades. So fun to make!

:: Silver Sweet - ATC Color Challenge ::

Today I have some silver ATC to show you. I´don´t work with all metallic that much but boy was this fun! I rellay love how they turned out! This is the third color I have created for my ATC Color Challenge 2017. Want to join me? Look for #atccolorchallenge2017 at Instagram.

I started with the Stencil called Crackle from Prima. Then I added Heavy Gesso and Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint Metallique Silver Spoon both from Prima Marketing. I buy most of my supplies from Prima at Pyssloteket in Stockholm.

When my background was dry I started my treasure hunt in boxes and my drawers for fun embellishments. I find two wooden frames from a box with frames in two different sizes. The box is called Wood Icons Delight. The larger frames was a good fit here. But I still lacked one frame so I used one in Resin I had left from a class with Frank Garcia. I painted the frames with the same paint as my backgrounds and I also used some Metallique Wax Old Silver.

After attaching the frames with Art Basic 3d Matte Gel I added lots of Glass Glitter Sterling and Micro beads in silver. I also used some loose silver glitter from Finnabair. ON thos ATC I used a Resin frame. I think both the Acrylic Paint and Waxes has really good coverage!

For this ATC I painted some flat flowers in the Silver Spoon Paint. I also used a piece from the Sunrise Sunset Collection with Mechanicals Vintage Trinkets. This one was in copper but I used my Wax and changed it into silver. The key from Prima Ingvild Bolme is called Junkyard Findings Vintage Keys. And last I added a metallic knob on the key and the metallic Jeans plates all from Prima. Of coures! I use Ranger Glossy Accent when I attach metallic embellishments.

I needed the flowers under the metallic plate to get it steady and solid. Here you can also see the little knob on the key. Every detail and layer makes it more fun to look at!

On this ATC I used one large metallic flower and one smaller from the Sunrise Sunset Mechanicals set. On the smaller flower I used the same knob as on the ATC above here. I found a package with really cool embellishments looking as pendants and I used one of them here. The arrow stickers are from Tim Holtz and called Metallic Borders.

:: Prima MIP June ::

As always I love to create after Primas challenges! This is my take on the June Make It Prima Challenge. I´m so pleased with my layout! I actually love it! And that´s an amazing feeling!

I made my background with Gesso, a Stencil, Stamps and Mist all from Prima.

I found some older flowers and I also used some from the latest collections. I really like how you can combine different collections so well!

My fishing nets is actually a authentic fishing nets! The fishing nets and the seashells are the only things that are not by the brand Prima Marketing. I love my Art-stones and here I used the medium size. I got the small and this size a while ago and I think I need to try out the mega ones also!

:: Lawn Fawn cards for teachers ::

Today it´s the last day before a long summer break for Viggo! Viggo goes to a very small school with only 55 students devided in to four classes. The students and parents have bought gifts for all twelve staff at school. We collect the money from all of us and this year I bought all the gifts. I also create cards for all of the staff after every term. This time I made some cute cards with a new set from Lawn Fawn called Pane and Simple.

Although the cards are quite clean and simple it was lot of steps to go throw and lot of pieces to put together! Here you can see what I used for my cards. All supplies are from Pyssloteket.

I made four different designs when it comes to the clouds and position of the plane and banner.

I saw this cute idea at the Lawn Fawn blog and wanted to make it myself! The original and almost same layout was created by the talented Cristina Nunes. I changed the colors at my banner and added the staffs name inside of my banners. I want to send a thank you to Cristina for the great idea! I think it´s very important to give credit when you lift some ones work!

First I tried to make a round sun in yellow but then I had to change all the other colors to make it look good so I went with the blue circle.

:: Make it Prima May Challenge - Smile ::

Only a couple og hours before bedtime I made this layout for Primas challenge Make it Prima in May. I had no absolutely no good light so my photos is really bad. Well, well I´m happy I finally made one of Primas challenegs that I like so much!

This is the Mood board I was inspired from.

For My background I played with my new Prima Watercolors I got from Viggo at Mothers Day and I really loved them! After I was done with my Water colors I used some stamps from Prima in different colors and black.

I used lots of different flowers from Prima both from brand new collections and a bit older ones.

I just love this photo of Molle smiling! Look at his teeth.

After adding some Art Stones I painted them with my Prima Water Colors!

:: Exploding Box for Pyssloteket ::

I´m not the girl who folds complicated cards but when it comes to a fun Exploding Box I´m game!
I made this Exploding Box and matching tag as DT work for Pyssloteket.

I got the idea of making a Exploding Box when I saw all the wise messages on the papers from Prima. The paper is from the Rose Quartz - Grateful Heart. I used my Sizzix Big Shot and die-cutted one circle in dark grey Cardstock and one smaller with the words on. Behind the circles I used a paper called Always and Forever from the Love Clippings collection. That paper has really nice and shiny copper details.

For the middle square I used words that I cut in pieces and added the same grey Cardstock as behind the circles behind each word. I just love to play with papers in this kind of way.

I got some scrap over so I also decided to make a matching Tag for the Box.
For the outside of the Exploding Box and for the Tag I used Rose Quartz - Midningt Beauty paper. For the Tag I used lots of fun stuff from Prima as Art Stones, Copper Micro Beads and flowers! The flowers I used are called Love Clippings - Little bits of my hearts, Wild and Free - Moonlit Passion and Adventurers, Ransley. The sticker is from a Tim Holtz word package. Just love them! On the flower stems that I screwed around a brush shaft I used Primas Metallique Wax in the color called Rich Copper. I also added the Wax here and there on the Box and Tag.
