Signs Of New Life

The afternoon sunshine and beauty of the daffodils.

Brings smiles and hope of new beginnings.

A canopy of blooms

Arching the yard with fragrant beauty

Tiny little luster's of pearl beads

Draping the boarders of the complex

Bursting with life each limb

Sways in the dance of Spring

Covered in rich beauty

In the gray of the day 
The red sunburst of Spring
Paints a pink beauty drop
As the sun breaks through the gray clouds
Through the limbs of red

One single bud

Brings birth and new life

As Spring comes alive

With each bursting bud

It has been a very full week and weekend.

With another full week ahead.

It seems the days are getting away from me.

Spring has sprung and with it my life is getting busier with each new day.

Full week of work then off to a business Conference with Mary Kay.

It is so wonderful to be associated with such a wonderful company and women.

I'm so grateful to be able to have the life I have and to share it with you all.

March 24~ Toys

Toys are hard to find in my house these days. 

With daughters grown and gone.

Grandchildren live in another state...

And my dogs have gone onto rainbow bridge.

Though I did mange to find some toys around the house.

The center photo is of CK's favorite toy her dice ball.

The top corner is more of her and Luke's toys from when they were with us; before heading to rainbow bridge.

Top center is an old spindle doll from German that my friend gave me because I fall in love with her.

Lucy is my moms doll

The giraffe is a toy I have laying around here from when I collected Ty toys; I do have several of them and I still once in awhile will purchase one.

The corner is an angel doll I got at a Christmas party.

The corner doll with thumb in mouth is another one of my moms dolls. She collects dolls she there are plenty of dolls at least at her home.

Puppy stuffed in couch is moms as well.

I guess you can say we never really did grow up at all!

When I came upon this puddle and the reflection was so awesome!

I didn't realize how much color it captured either until I downloaded it.

I think it started to rain a bit too when I snapped this photo.

Its always fun when you capture a great shot!

Was doing selfie day as well.

I have been trying to find a perfect picture for my Face Book page.

I'm not good at taking selfie's so I take lots of them.

I'm never happy with any of them and wonder how others get such great photos.

Well...I'm a camera bug that is learning.

Armature for sure but i sure have fun.

I drive hubby and everyone around me nuts with the camera shutter.

March 15~ Homemade

I really haven't made anything homemade in awhile

So of course I had to tear through the house trying to find something.

The photo in the top left hand corner my girlfriend Carol made that for us for our Mary Kay Business to encourage us

The bottom left hand corner my daughter and grandchildren made for em as a birthday present scape booking

I love it so much hangs in my room!

the other three are crafts I have started by have yet to complete them

I love doing doing work and making blankets

1. My steering wheel on my pretty car that I love so much and am so very thankful for.

2. The round pot that hubby cooked my soup in for me and then served me my soup in my round bowl. Thank you for preparing and serving me today after work. What a nice lunch and sweet hubby!

3. The penny I found on the ground when taking out the garbage. Pennies from heaven. The Lord reminding me how much he loves me.

It has been a peaceful and restful weekend.

Rather a lazy one.

Not much accomplished expect rest.

Do set the clock back and somehow the time thief came in and stole and hour from me.

This was my morning post on Face Book due to the loss of my hour:

"The clocks are changed to reflect that Spring is near and I soon will be dancing in the sunshine. Though this hour was stolen from me!! I cannot find it! I'm sure its was simply missed place in the time machine of sunshine. Though its not shining or sharing. I'm sure I will soon catch the time thief who stole my hour in a week or two as my body and mind recall the break in! Then we will be happy once again!"

So this is where my hour is at! Come on ten days!!!     

I did go on a wonderful walk at 1000 acres dog park and truly had a great time.

I will be sharing some of that later this week.

This day has slipped away so quickly with my loss time.

It is late and I should be asleep.

March 9~ Daylight saving time/Spring forward
So today's  challenge truly was a challenge for me.
I really wasn't sure how to do this one.
So I stole some one's Else's idea and added to it.
Took photos from the net and then some photos from my adventure today.
It is always fun to put these challenges together.
Maybe not always the easiest....
But they are fun!

3 Gifts carved

1. The relationships we carve daily with love and care

2. The sandwich at brunch/lunch that hubby bought me today.....and my steak tonight that I had for dinner. Maybe not carved but cut for sure....So not easy on this one!

3. The amazing trails that are carved out in the landscape out at the 1000 acres dog park were I had the sheer pleasure of taking a walk with the amazing Mickey and Pat today. What beauty surrounds us in the carved beauty of the landscape. Thank you Lord!

I have been having fun with my camera lately.

Trying to take unusual photos that capture beauty and life in a different light.

It has been so pretty off and on the last few days between rain showers.

I run out and walk a bit and take the camera to take some photos.

I'm sure my neighbors and others think I'm nuts.

I really don't care.

I'm having fun and enjoying life.

The best part is I'm capturing it in my photo lens.

Not sure what I'm looking at here.

This was taken last year sometime at my sisters home.

I love going to visit them and spending time with them.

They have a lovely home about hour from here.

When I go down I usual spend the weekend with them.

I could come home.....But I love time with them.

I'm so blessed to have them live near me.

We didn't for so many years.

Now all of us live in the same state!

I still don't see them enough.

Brother live right down the road.

Sadly I don't hardly wee him at all.

Long story there.

Prayers need!
I miss and love him so much.

It is almost Friday and time to think about the weekend fun!

Though i must say I'm thinking how full tomorrow will be with all my beautiful ladies coming in to have their hair done.

They bring me such joy!

TBT=Throwback Thursday

I know it is kinda funny to see a Christmas photo up this time of year.

In my world Christmas is everyday!

Though this was Christmas 1981.

I have been enjoying many old photos of my beautiful little girls that are now all grown and moms.

I am so super blessed to be there mom.

This photo is of Jeannie top left hand corner holding my baby girl Racheal; Lenita my niece, Standing next to her is my oldest daughter Heather, Santa holding my middle daughter Amber;

Young man in the photo is Clint and he is a cousin to my daughters.

Santa is Jeannie;s dad playing Santa!
He did this for years!
Wonderful memories to hold and Cherish.

Day 6

A gift bent, broken, beautiful

My bent gift is the hose I use to wash the ladies hair. It gets bent a lot and without it I couldn't do my work or make the ladies look as amazing as they already are.

Broken is the gift we receive when we release those broken toys, habits, children, relationships, business, burdens, whatever it is: over to the Lord so that He may repair them they way they should be! Perfect....... That's if we leave them were they should be with Him! 

Beautiful is the smile in the face of the ladies when they leave the shop feeling like they can conquer the world around them. The hugs of beauty with each one that gives the paycheck of the heart. I am truly blessed!

Candid Moments~ Hospital

Taken when I was out for a walk the other day when the weather was beautiful and Spring like.

The rains have come.....though it is warmer than it has been.

It is starting to feel as though Spring may make it after all.

I love blue sky .... white puffy cloud days like this one.

It is a photo of the Hospital where I worked not so long ago.

They have taken down some fences so you have a much better view.

I sometimes miss not working there and wished I still did.

But I love doing what I do.

God provides the perfect work when needed.

Truly I am blessed.

It was funny being able to walk to work.

Though I didn't like walking late at night though.

Hubby did come and walk over to pick me up though.

Early morning walks to work I had to do on my own.

March 5 ~ Street

This was created from photos that were taken in Florida when I was there on vacation.

It was a grand time.

The large photo and the small one next to it is the Tampa Bridge crossing the bay.

What a wonderful week of traveling the streets in Florida it was too.

1. Inner strengthen that I sometimes forget that is there through our Lord and Savior. That I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me! 

2. One of my pretty black scarfs that I forgot I had. I think I need to find an outfit to wear with it.

3. The clips to put down a portable hair dryer hood. I couldn't find the clip that made it go down. Then I looked in the hood and guess what the hood went down! YEA! So simple but so hidden. Thank goodness for portable hair dyers.

March 3 ~ Art
These photos of these beautiful pieces of art work were taken on my vacation to Florida in December.
My girlfriend Crystal to me to the Ringling Museum.
Oh the art was magnificent.
This is such a small glimpse of what I saw and the photos I took.
If you ever get a chance to go there.....please do.
So rich in history.
He collected art and many pieces had to be restored. Quite the history on all of it.
Some was in dis repair..
But boy what a collection!

!. My Dansko shoes.....my feet feel so much better than they use too and helps with support of my ankle. Love these shoes...even though they aren't the cutest ones in town.
2. My jeans and pink sparkle sweatshirt! Feeling sparkle today I am!
3. My smile.....My grandma always said it takes less muscles to smile then it did to frown. I always think about that and how grandma got me to smile when I was frowning. I miss her. I know she is smiling down upon us.
