Unfortunately, the situation is very grim and a thought of career progression has taken a worst form of depression, anxiety, gender sensitization and rage among fresh graduates. After WW1 & WW2, mid-career progression malaise has cut the corporate economy all over the world. Since, it is believed that every transition is the beginning of new career therefore, researcher adopts a survey study partaking five career progression trajectories which are responsible for regime change i.e., Rising Careers Progression, Renewing Careers Progression, Entrepreneurial Careers Progression, Continuous Careers Progression, Unstable Careers Progression. Close-ended questionnaire collects the data from mid-career graduates (N =200). All major/minor projects are perused in order to determine respective mid-career trajectory before completion of final transcript/degree. The present study discusses the growing importance of regime change toward mid-career progression of graduates at public sector universities of district Lahore, Pakistan.

Parental involvement was the independent variable and the achievement scores of students were the dependent variable. Whereas, demographic variables like school status, SES, and parents' qualifications were also important. This study was comparative in nature and all elementary-level schools were taken as population. Elementary campuses of boys and girls were conveniently selected from the public sector in Faisalabad and taken as accessible population. From this accessible population, a sample of 376 students (307 male and 69 female) were drawn who have passed the elementary exams. Demographic sheets, copies of elementary result cards, and questionnaires were collected in order to find out the impact of parental involvement on the achievement scores of students at the elementary level. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency) was employed along with ANOVA, and t-test for data analysis. Keeping in view the results taken from Punjab Examination Commission, significant differences between the academic performance of the children belonging to the businessmen class and the job holders' class were noticed. Further, it was also determined from the dished-out results that the difference in academic achievement level is significant when more involvement of parents was there.

For this research, the population consisted of all the public university students from province of the Punjab. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 1,000 students from 10 universities of Punjab. 'NEO-BFI' developed by Costa & McCrae in 2010 (having 44-items for measuring personality traits) and LSI developed in 2005 by Kolb & Kolb (consisting of 10 factors for measuring learning styles) were used simultaneously to collect the required data. Both these instruments were standardized. Pearson correlation was applied for analyzing the data to find out the relationship between styles of learning and openness trait of personality. The study concluded that, there was a significant relationship between openness (personality trait) and styles of learning (assimilating and accommodating). Hence, openness personality trait has strong positive correlation with the assimilating and positive correlation with accommodating styles of learning.

Design/Methodology/Approach: A quasi-experimental design (pretest posttest control group) was opted for determining the effect of SLM Methodology (IV) and the Achievement test (DV). One hundred and ten (N = 110) B.Ed. (pre-service) teachers, as an intact group, from a public sector women university were randomly divided into the control and treatment groups through flip of coin (a random assignment). Once the experimental protocols were completed, the treatment group was exposed to SLM methodology as an intervention whereas the study was limited to the subject of General Science and female students only. The control group received traditional instruction. Findings: Significant differences were found in achievement test scores of the two groups. Additionally, positive effect was identified in participants' feedback, feelings, and experience about the situated learning by analyzing their reflections through reflective thematic analysis. Implications/Originality/Value: So it is concluded that preservice teachers may be facilitated to incorporate Situated Learning Model as an instructional strategy for teaching contextual and experiential subjects such as science, geography, mathematics etc.
