Some Thoughts Concerning Education (Quaedam cogitationes de educatione) est tractatus anni 1693 de educatione virorum generosorum ab Ioanne Lockio philosopho Anglico scriptus. Plus quam centum annos gravissimum opus de eruditione in Anglia scriptum mansit. Saeculo duodevicensimo in omnes magnas linguas Europaeas conversum est, multis scriptoribus posterioribus eius auctoritatem agnoscentibus, ut Ioanne Iacobo Russavio in Émile.
In An Essay Concerning Human Understanding (Libello de intellectu humano, 1690) Lockius novam animi rationem creare coepit, affirmans animum viri honesti esse "tabulam rasam", quae notiones innatas non contineret. In Some Thoughts Concerning Education explicat quomodo hunc animum educare tribus rationibus distinctis: corpore sano excolendo, moribus probis formandis, ac curriculo studiorum bene eligendo.
Lockius Some Thoughts litteras amico nobili scripsit, sed consilia eius plebi quoque iucunda erant, quae credebat se rationibus Lockianis eosdem mores consequi posse ac patricii quibus Lockius opus destinabat.
