Pain relief and reestablishment of normal masticatory function are the main goals of conservative management of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). Laser therapy is a part of the treatment modality that have demonstrated to have an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and biostimulating effect. The LLLT is a non invasive , quick and safe, non pharmacological intervention that may be beneficial for patient with TMDs. This review article projects the use of LLLT for management of temporomandibular disorders ,its mode of action and also gives a review on various studies conducted to assess its efficacy on pain management.

Different isolation methods are put forward in practice which not as it were given sufficient vision and perfect working environment, but moreover keep up hemostasis to certain degree. The reason of this article is to audit the ancient & most recent headways within the field of tissue retraction.

The two main areas of use in dentistry are orthodontics and removable prosthodontics. The reason for popularity of magnets is their small size and attractive forces. This allows them to be placed within the prosthesis without being obstructive in the mouth. Mainly rare earth permanent magnets and soft ferro magnetic alloys are used in dental prosthesis. Retention of dentures by magnets is provided by their attraction or repulsion forces. Devices retaining the overdenture magnetically are called magnetic attachments. This article reviewed the alloys and method for magnetic attachments in overdentures.

Greater magnitude and occurrence of bone loss during first year of prosthetic loading. However, the assumption that the inward shifting of the implant-abutment junction may preserve crestal bone was primarily based on serendipitous finding rather than scientific evidence. This paper reviews the literature regarding platform switching, the crestal bone preservation and its endurance.
