A Star Fold Card for almost any Occasion: To make this 6" card, you will need to start with a piece of paper measuring 12 X 12. Laying it on your mat you can easily find the center of one of the sides. Mark the 6" point and draw a line down the paper for about 2". Now you can draw a line from the corner left to the center line, making sure it is 12" long, do this again of the other side from right corner to center at 12" point. Now you can trim off the corners using your paper trimmer…

Made this super-fun card to share at my team meeting last night. we had such a good time I forgot to take any other pictures!! Oh well. I used the new Star Framelits for the Big Shot to cut layers from Hello Honey and Whisper White, then just adhered them in alternating patterns, with a tiny star punch from Glimmer Paper in the center and a saying from And Many More on the banner. Today I have created for you a gatefold card with an interlocking star mechanism on the front. This card is surprisingly simple to recreate, and so I made a video tutorial to step you through how to make it yourself. It would be a great Christmas project to create for a special friend! I recently got a shipment from Creative-Depot in Germany, which included this thing which looks like a die but is in fact an embossing gizmo. It made the snowflake impressions for the backdrop to this card.
