I posted a reel a couple of days ago about not being able to earn more than $30/hour baking which led to some questions.

If I pay myself more that $30/hour to bake, my baked goods are generally priced too high for my area. There is one exception to this…sourdough bread. It’s ingredient costs are quite low and the demand is high so my hourly wage is also much higher for that item.

Anyway, this is exactly why I added supplemental items to my menu and also why I began to generate additional income beyond only baking (join my Pink or Platinum Plan to access all of my courses and recipes).
