1950s jeans

Classic 1940's "Girl Next Door" look. I only wish she had posed in a more photogenic location at Oberlin High School. The building was a gorgeous building that was demolished to make way for temporary 'shacks' ! @ #!%#?! Sometimes I just don't understand this society. We used to aspire to dignity and grandeur in everything. From school houses to fire houses; now we desire it in nothing.

Marlon Brando and James Dean made denim defiant and sexy in the 1950s. But it was Marilyn Monroe who embodied the sexy and rebellious look first. It was in Fritz Lang’s Clash by Night, in 1952.
