ScrapStation Alpha Complete!

Well, mostly complete. I still need to put up new curtains and knobs on the cabinets, but it is all functional. I think it looks great, and I hope it works well. A big shout out to my husband and Shell's husband- they did the installation on the cabinets and the counters.

My bug and my paper storage. Paper storage makes SUCH a difference.

It is so convenient to have the printer in the same room. Under the counter, I have my rolling plastic carts. Yes, those ARE pieces of framed Sassafras Lass paper on the wall. What can I say- I'm a SL fangirl (^_^)

The husband trying to look cool.

It took some creativity, but they finally figured out how to mount the countertop without any supports on the floor (I want to rip the carpet out at some point).

More Cards

Happy Halloween! Here are the cards I made for Shell and Anndell- more vintage clipart, gems, and Target paper. Shelly made me this cute birthday card- I just had to post a pic! She used Sassafras Lass' Nerdy bird paper. You know she's a real friend when she uses Sassafras lass on your card (^_^)

Not very fond of these colors together but I tried.
This has got to be my 3rd fave cart!!

Hallowe'en Cards

I just love vintage images, and Halloween seems to be the holiday for interesting clip art to use in my creations. These are some cards I made for friends and family. I have cards for Shell and Anndell too, but I'll wait until I give them theirs before I upload them- I don't want to spoil the surprise ;-)

I used paper from the Target dollar spot collection, stick-on gems, and die cuts from my Home Decor Cricut cartridge.

My Scrap Room Chipboard Album

CK Convention

Kitty mentioned earlier about going to the CK Convention.
We had a fantastic time... next year we know to sign
up for more classes and to bring more $$$!

The one class we did sign up for this year was great!!
We had a fun instructor (Darby Bowler).
Kitty even won one of the door prizes!!
YAY KITTY!!!
In our class we created a chipboard album using
the Nerdy Bird line from Sassafras Lass.
Below are pics of our instructors album.
I tweeked mine a bit and will post them next.

My babies...

Here is a pic I wanted to share with you all...
my 4 babies worn out from a trip to my
parents over the weekend. We usually
only take the dogs but now that the cat
has to take insulin twice a day,
we now take her, as well.
It was one wacky trip!

We were all glad to be back home!

Convention Time!

Shell and I are getting ready to attend the CKC- Kansas City scrapbooking convention tomorrow, along with another "scrappy" friend, Anndell. This is my first time going, but Shell and Anndell attended a couple of years ago. The three of us will take a class tomorrow- we are going to make a chipboard album with Sassafras Lass' adorable Nerdy Bird paper. I think it will be a lot of fun, and I hope to have some pics of the finished albums to put up on the blog. I've been busy making Halloween cards, and I'll get those pics up, too. See, I told you once school began, I'd be a bit slower on the upload. Quality over quantity, right? ;-)
