My 10000+ Candy - Now closed - Thank you

I just don't seem to be able to get much done at the moment but this is top of my blog 'To Do' list so getting this posted is good! Edit: I actually wrote this post a week ago and have just got the photo sorted so you see what I mean about getting things done!!!

So the candy...having passed my birthday, husband's birthday and 10,000 hits I've decided I'd like to share the love with 3 people who will each get a new set of Inkadinkado or Stampendous stamps, set of PaperMania sticker alphabet, mixture of Dovecraft 6x6" (15*15cm) papers, mixture of PaperMania 2x12" (5*30cm) papers plus an assortment of brads, ribbons, buttons, images, etc. It's not all shown in the photo but I hope you get the idea. Can't give everyone something but I like the idea of more people having a chance. And I say a 'mixture' of papers because I think splitting packs so everyone gets a good mix of lots of different things is better than getting lots of the same. More candy and a new challenge site

Kristine has lots to celebrate and lovely candy on her blog but you'll need to be quick as that finishes today. Her blog is always worth seeing though: Lovely cards and also great photos and Photoshop tutorials.

I also discovered a new challenge site which looks really exciting as it promises to give info and tutorials too, so is aptly called 'The Next Level'. Co-hosted by one of my old Funky Fairy Papercrafts team mates, Dawn, whose work is fabulous so I am sure it will be good. It all gets started on June 1st and they have 2 prize packs that will be drawn that day so hop over now, have a look and help spread the word.

When I hit 10000 I will offer candy myself so I am starting to put things aside for that but that is for a later date...

A few things to share...

Firstly, I must show you the card I received from Annie of Ink'n'Rubba today with my runner up prize of the Whiff of Joy Charlotte with Sleigh - That will get inked very soon - and lots of stamped images that I am going to enjoy colouring. This card not only looks beautiful, the pearly paper feels lovely too and then there's all the stickle dots sticking up. I am a self-confessed paper stroker and this is a very tactile card: You either know what I mean or I am losing the plot (possibly both?)! Annie has a great blog so I recommend a hop in that direction.

Secondly, Sheetload Shortcuts have a 'Frosty Giveaway' candy of 20 frosted card blanks and I can tell you from experience these are great quality! Another place to hop too!

Finally, I am long overdue in following up a PIF I was lucky enough to receive: The first 3 people who leave a comment on this post will receive some stamped images from me: I shall contact those whose comments are received first for their snail mail address so please make there's a contact from your blog/profile or some way to get in touch. I'm not sure how quickly I will get them out to you but I will do it. In turn you have to Pass It Forward (PIF) by posting and doing the same for 3 other people: A nice fun way to share some stash.

SheetLoad's Blog Candy Blow Out

Sheetload are having a 'Candy Blowout' and if ever there was a need to do 'sheetloads' of cards it has to be the run up to Christmas so if you haven't looked before I really recommend their blog and monthly ezine where they give a sketch, cutting templates and lots of examples to get the most out of your card and paper. The candy is also great and is all going to 4 lucky winners this month!

We had a bad storm pass overhead about 10 days ago which wiped out something electrical in most of the village: For us it was the modem! Nightmare, and first priority when the new box arrived had to be catching up on customer orders and restocking my eBay shop. Now I am ready to start catching up with some challenges and have just been blog-hopping. Blog hoppin

Total lack of computer yesterday and I thought it had gone for good but hubby finally managed to get it working again last night so I've been glued to it today - blog-hopping started by a couple of emails and then went on and on!
Amongst all the lovely cards and things I've been admiring was tons of candy so have a look on the list to the right and join in the celebrations. They include Julie from Arty Girlz and Inspirational who is celebrating becoming a Stampin Up demonstrator along with folks who are new to the block celebrating 100+ hits through to those with zillions (only a slight exaggeration)! One of these is Kreativ Kristin who is celebrating 15000 hits.

Karin's new challenge blog and candy offers

Karin has set up a new challenge blog offering a weekly sketch for just Christmas and birthday cards - The ones we usually need most of! It's called Christmas and Birthday Cards.
To celebrate she is also offering candy on her original blog - Scrap Everything until the 13th.
I love the first sketch so hope to join in later.

I'm still here!

After a great party with a bunch of kids doing treasure hunts and painting T-shirts as well as the usual pass the parcel and musical chairs on Wednesday, I have collapsed in a heap and haven't made a single card! Or maybe it was the stress of having to make the birthday cakes that did it!
I have however provided one craft soirée and, after tonight's Téléthon (French charity) meeting, the number planned in the next 5 weeks has grown to 2 craft workshops and 2 craft fair weekends so I need to get cracking!

In a bit of blog-hopping relaxation I found Nikki's candy of 2 gorgeous High Hopes stamps, and as if her great cards weren't enough of a reason to hop over there!
And although it only seems like yesterday Susie at White Ribbon Cards was offering candy, she is generously offering more. Again great work to inspire you too.
And I must be the last person on the crafting planet to not know this blog: SusanBlueRobot. Susan is offering candy to celebrate 200000 hits, and that's only since April, but there were another 13000 on top when I just looked! If you have any kind of computerised cutter you MUST look at her site and give yourself plenty of time: It's amazing!
