Scarecrow dramatic play preschool

Preschool corn maize art project. Students used fingertips in ink pads for kernels. We did to have them cut out the cobs this time. Stalks is craft paper scrunched and rolled somewhat. Used black ink to rub against the edges to add a rustic touch.

Students will be encouraged to read, write, learn, and play, all while visiting the classroom's pumpkin patch dramatic play center!

This week Deedee Wills shared a fabulous resource from Differentiated Kindergarten Blog about sensory bins. Scarecrows are too cute not to share what we are doing in our sensory table! The students can stuff and un-stuff the scarecrow. Then they get to label the scarecrow. After all the fun, the students will label a scarecrow on a worksheet to take home.
