The Bald Eagle is both the national bird and animal of the United States. The bird appears on most official U.S. government seals, most notably the presidential seal. Bald eagles are a sea eagle found throughout all of the Unites States, Canada and northern Mexico. They thrive near water, and feed primarily on fish. They also build the largest nests of any bird in North America, and the biggest tree nests of any animal on Earth.
