My Christmas Ice Balls are my most viral video to date with the most asked question being how to make them without balloons. While balloons are the easiest and fastest way to make flower ice balls (and I shared how I used biodegradable balloons (compostable in 6 weeks), I completely understand the desire for other options. I tried a couple of different ones to see what would work best. The first one I tried did not work and was a total failure. In hindsight, I should have logically realized that the design of the ice ball mold wouldn’t work with the addition of flowers. But you know late-night shopping often results in live-and-learn lessons.
