Father's Day Keepsake Box

Hello ladies,

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and great Father's Day. It was a really busy one around here so I didn't get to post this before. I created a keepsake box for my husband to store cards, notes and little presents from the kids. I used A Proper Gentleman collection by Graphic 45 and a few embellishments by Tim Holtz. Hope you like it!

Layouts For This Week

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing a couple of double layouts I created this past weekend.

Chicks Rule!

These photos were taken last year when Emily and I were taking care of some chicks we hatched at the school where I work. I used papers by Basic Grey, Fancy Pants and Crate Paper. I also added some feathers I found in the kids craft section at Michael's. To cut the circle, I used my Coluzzle template which I got years ago and it's now discontinued but any other circle cutter would work the same.

For the second layout, I used photos we took last Thanksgiving of the kids. They were so cute in coordinated outfits so I choose the gorgeous papers in the Amber Road collection by Pink Paislee to complement those colors. I thought the pictures were so beautiful that I didn't really want the embellishments to overpower them so I only used Prima leaves and Tim Holtz foliage as accents.

Le Romantique Anniversary Mini

My husband and I recently celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary and I thought it would be cute to give him a mini album with a chronological recount of our relationship. I used the beautiful paper collection Le Romantique by Graphic 45 as well as Prima and Tim Holtz embellishments.

The mini is pretty substantial as it is 7X7. It was a really fun project to make. I included lots of interactive pockets as well as a 'mini' within a mini so be sure to watch the videos at the end of this post. The pictures just can't capture that.
