A NEW CHALLENGE AT 'A DAY FOR DAISIES'

We're asking you to add dimensional flowers for the new challenge over at the A Day for Daisies Challenge blog.

I have used a new image and coloured it using alcohol markers.  The rainbow background is digital and I have merged it so that the rainbow is 'colouring' the flowers.

I also added sewn on sequins to the rainbow for a little magic and sparkle.

My dimensional flowers are the three roses on the ribbon (they were white, and I coloured them with some alcohol ink from my markers)

OLDIE BUT GOODIE THURSDAY WITH BUGABOO STAMPS

Today is Oldie but Goodie Thursday with Bugaboo Stamps, and I chose this great image called

Stella and Gus - Marriage Secret.

It's coloured using alcohol markers, and teamed up with this sentiment that I think would be true for many of my friends.

ANYTHING BUT A CARD MONDAY WITH BUGABOO STAMPS

 

I used the Bugaboo image  Boy Roses merged witha digital flower frame to create my card.  I popped it on top of a digital paper background before printing.

The image was then coloured using alcohol markers.

The sentiment is digital and the gems are my mebellishments.

The inside of the folder has a little flap behind which to place the  money.

SIMPLY B'S PROGRESSIVE FREEBIE CHALLENGE

My card features an image from Simply B - a freebie in the Progressive Freebie Challenge.  

I merged the image with a digital background, printed and then coloured using alcohol markers

I also added sewn on pearl beads, a layered flower, and a sentiment, which is part of the image set.

My card features flowers from the Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow shrub (which I think tie in with the theme of the challenge) as well as a sentiment which has an 'Optimism" theme.

I have also used a window diecut.

Another 6 of my drawings have been released as digistamps in the Digistamps 4 Joy store today, and this is my card with the one called

Ps : To my knowledge, as a result of recent googling, Digistamps 4 Joy is still the only South African based store comprised wholly and solely of South African based artists.

I used alcohol markers for the colouring, as well as a white gel pen and Stickles.
