What's the Weather? Challenge

Spring is in the Air and so is a new challenge..... funny how these 2 go together! ;)

Here at Jellypark Friday Friends Challenges we want to celebrate all kinds of weather! but first we are going to announce the winners of the fun Craft challenge:

1 . Tine
2 . ineke da cruz
3 . NanaConnie

Thank you so much to everyone who played along! Would our Top 3 winners please grab the badge on the right side bar for your blog? and Tine, please send Claire an email at jellypark at live.co.uk with your choice of a digital image from the Jellypark store.

As I mentioned in the previous post, this is the end of our winter DT term. This team has worked so hard to bring your wonderful projects to inspire your creativity. if you get a moment, please pop by their blogs to tell them how much you appreciate all they have done. :)

Springtime brings with it all kinds of wild and wacky weather. So our challenge is for you to create a papercraft project that reflects the weather somehow. It could be through your image, diecuts, designer paper, embellies, whatever floats your little boat! But we want to see something about the weather when we look at your project.

Remember the few rules that we have - make sure it's new and family friendly, limit yourself to 2 entries please, and link your individual blog post to here while mentioning Jellypark Friday Friends. the complete list of rules is over on the side bar. you are welcome to use any images or stamps you would like, but a Jellypark image will get you an extra entry into the chance for Top 3. One winner will receive their choice of a digital image from the Jellypark store! :)

psssssst....... here's a little secret for you...... Claire has a few freebies here in the store that would be PERFECT for this challenge! and don't forget the Little Haven fundraising images, too!

Shades of Love Challenge

A new challenge starts today, but let's first announce the Top 3 in our Winter Wonderland challenge. Thank you to everyone who played along! it was great fun to see your wintery projects! :)

1 . Anne-Marie
2 . Doreen
3 . Tammie E

Congratulations to all of you! Please be sure to grab the badge for your blog over on the right hand side bar. Anne-Marie, please email Claire at jellypark at live.co.uk with your choice of a digital image from the Jellypark Store.

Since Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, our new challenge is all about the 'Shades of Love.' We want to see reds, pinks, and/or purples on your papercraft projects. You can use one color or all of them, but these need to be the main colors of your projects. just remember the few rules that we do have - keep it family friendly, current projects only, and limit your entries here to 2 per time frame. the full list of rules is over on the right hand side bar if you ever have any questions. if you use an image from the Jellypark store, you get an extra chance at being chosen for the Top 3.

Also, be sure that your project actually fits our challenge. Lately some have been entering projects that really don't have anything to do with our theme. while we appreciate you thinking of us, you not only won't qualify for the Top 3, but we will delete your entry. We do need to keep it fair to everyone. thanks!

Now on to the DT inspiration!

I'll give you a moment to top off your morning cuppa and take a brief intermission for a sweet roll ...... :)

Off we go!

Thank you to everyone who played along in our last challenge - 'Old Year/New Year'! so many fun things were used in your projects! Just a reminder to be sure to follow our few challenge rules when linking your projects. Several of you didn't qualify for the prize drawing because you didn't follow along. Sorry about that.....

Our Top 3 winners are:

1. Helen (Crafty Mama Mia)
2. Sally M.
3. Betty Benton

Congratulations to you! Be sure to grab the badge on the sidebar to the right for your blog. Helen, please choose a digi from the Jellypark store and send an email to Claire at jellypark at live.co.uk.

Now on to the new challenge..... "Something in my Pocket." we are asking you to create a papercraft project that incorporates a pocket somewhere on it. I don't know about you, but in the winter especially, I am always tucking things in my pockets - gloves, hats, scarves, tissues, change, keys, you name it. so let's put a pocket on it!
Remember that you may enter our challenge twice each playing period, just to keep it fair to everyone. Also, be sure to show us where your pocket is located, in case it isn't obvious at first glance. Keep it family friendly, too, and have fun! :) If you use a Jellypark image, you get an additional entry into the drawing for Top 3!

Now on to the DT inspiration..... (Remember that our DT groups will switch next time)

We are a very baseball family- we live, breathe, eat, and sleep baseball!!! When you don't find we at ball fields you will find we playing in my scrap area. I love working with sketches in both my cards and layouts, digis are my most fave thing to work with and I have lots of experience. I love to create all types of things from cards to scrapbook pages to altered items!

Georgia Ehrmann

I am married (38 yrs) with three children. I teach preschoolers with Special Needs. I love what I do! I feel blessed every day!
I love to work with all different mediums but Copics on paper seem to be my favorite. I love to do altered projects too ad think nothing of taking "trash" and recycling it into something useful or beautiful! ( I have taken the covers off of "take out food containers" and repurposed them into "angels" for Christmas trees. No kidding! (see my attached pic..). I am on several design teams at the moment and I am loving every one of them! Digital images are my favorite images to work with as you can change the size, flip them, crop, etc. It is so much fun to combine different images together on the same card!

Heide Dronchi

I am a mom of 2 children, Nicolas(14) and Mia(12). I am very active in my children acivities. I am married to my husband for 15 years and he is one of my biggest supporters. I also have a very crazy fur baby named Guinness.

Stacie Gorse

My name is Stacie, and my crafty-world name is Hestia's Helper.Hestia is the Greek Goddess of Hearth and Home, and I'm her helper.Up until about a month ago, I was a Domestic Goddess (aka Stay-at-home-mom) with two boys, ages 9 & 10 and a hubby of almost 12 years!
My best friend is my Bunn Coffee maker: I can brew a pot in less than 3 minutes!
In October we moved from North Carolina to PA, and I have recently started a new job.
Now I'm a full-time, tax-paying slave to the system.Staying home all day was a LOT more fun!I met Jennifer and fell in love with Jellypark Friends through The Crafter's Cafe and when they had a DT Call, I felt compelled to apply, just to have a chance to play with Claire's art work! This is a SUPER-fun team and I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone!! (-:

Suzie McFloozy

Hi I am Suzie a mother of 2 boys (5 & 2 Yr's) and wife of nearly 11 years to Kevin. We live in the UK.
I love to make cards especially with digital images as I find them so diverse. I love how I can resize and layer them up with other images or digi papers making them perfect whatever the project.
My card making style is varied and I love to change it up, creating cards from CAS to shabby chic, cute to classically elegant.

Jennifer Scull

Hello! My name is Jennifer S. and THEY say I am a coffee addict...... I don't think so, but I do love coffee and pink and buttons and shabby/vintage and lace and trims and paper (especially Basic Grey!) and my family and my dogs and papercrafting! :) but really, I have been playing at this hobby/obsession for about 10 years now and loving every minute of it. I repurpose all kinds of things, so don't be surprised if you find a belt loop from one of my son's shorts or perhaps a button from my hubby's shirt or a tea tag from my morning cuppa somewhere on my creation! it's all about the fun and whimsy!
