The truth after the police incident, now I understand the story better, the player is repeating the same mistakes Astrid made when she suspected of discovering shady things about the cult. In the newspaper that appears in a part of the game in the kitchen that talks about a missing crazy girl that the police had found, it was Astrid who surely tried to escape, she managed to escape but her mistake was going to the police, that is why she couldnt get out of the place, and was chained under ground.

Has anyone else noticed that there is like an extra ending? I wouldn't consider it final since the game is repeated, even so. At the end when you manage to escape from the people with torches while running. What you have to do to get the ending is go to the bus, right?
