We initially intended for the shotgun to fire more than one bullet and for each bullet to do damage separately, but we ran out of time to get that working before the deadline. We'll try to get that working in a patched version!

Sorry about the music, this was my first time ever using FL Studio and Audacity and we put the music in like 20 minutes before the deadline, so I didn't have time to go back and fix it. When we get around to updating it, I'll be sure to kill that dead spot in the songs so it loops more seamlessly!

This one is really excellent! It feels great to play and I really dig the Metroidvania feel. The one issue that I ran into is while falling or jumping either left/right, I would sometimes find myself stuck in the falling state but not gaining any upward or downward trajectory, like I was partially stuck in the wall. Other than that, this was a fantastic game, much better than I expected!

I think more thought should've been put into the gameplay, every level played the same and while I didn't go very far, the level designs and enemies never really seemed to change either. Aiming felt a bit awkward and there wasn't really any point to killing enemies. You get points but as far as I could tell they didn't do much. I will say though that the visuals and music were really on point and I liked those a whole lot!

I feel bad for the poor guy getting dragged along... This is one of the better "move by shooting but you can't directly move your character" type games I've played this game jam, the graphics, sound and the little dude getting dragged along added a lot.

Very confusing, I think adding the controls into the game itself would be a good idea. It felt like I had to be dead on top of items to pick them up, which felt a bit weird. I'd say maybe just make it so walking over an item picks it up and maybe make the items a little different, I was never really too sure what I was grabbing.

A bit easy up until the end, that was a laugh, haha. I'm a big fan of the presentation, the sound effects are really good too!

I think I would have enjoyed this more if there was any reason to look around on a floor instead of just running for the place to jump down, other than the boss there was no reason to fight anything either.

Very cool game, the only thing I'd say could use a tweak was when I didn't play in fullscreen, the pumpkin on the third level at the top of the screen was pretty hard to see. After I went fullscreen though I had no issues! Nice game!

I'd definitely recommend a quick popup tutorial when you start to show controls. It took me a bit to realize I had a dash and my initial  thought was "these red ghosts are way too fast to outrun!"

The ghosts are pretty cute, I think a little more of an indicator for when a ghost is about to be fully sucked in would be nice just 'cuz it felt like I had to get a feel for it so I was just kinda guesstimating. Overall a pretty fun game though.

I think charging to use the shotgun didn't really add anything to the concept and if anything, detracted from it slightly, but otherwise this is an alright game. The art is pretty neat, it's an interesting style, reminds me of a virtual boy game.

This didn't have anything to do with the theme or limitation of the game jam. I'd say give the player some invulnerability time when they're hit and don't prevent them from moving, it's just kind of bad to try to fight enemies until the boss because if you get hit once, you're kind of locked in place until they're completely done moving through you, which was usually over half my health.

Took me a bit to figure out how to shoot, I missed the controls on the page here, but otherwise nice auto runner.

Nice game, it's neat to have to avoid shooting something with your gun for a change! If this had more levels and a speedrun leaderboard type thing, I think it could be pretty popular.

Nice game! It feels a little weird to move by right clicking but it's pretty solid overall, just a tiny bit confusing at first.

Frustratingly difficult, the moving platforms made it almost impossible to progress. The sound was also pretty quiet.

Cute game, I kind of liked the audio being based around where the gun was, gave kind of a neat effect playing with headphones.

Nice music. The sprite layering seems a bit off, the ghosts go over top of the horses and I noticed after you beat it that you continue to take damage from ghosts spawning behind the win screen, it still makes the hurt sound effect and stuff.

The rubber duck button and the injection button didn't seem to do much.

Fun little game, it could use some sound effects and music but overall it's pretty solid.

I'm a huge fan of this one! I got a big smile every time I got to the end of a level, "oops" never got old. My one itty bitty criticism would be that it didn't feel very well explained that I could aim up and down at angles and stuff, but once I figured that out it all felt pretty good to play. Great work on this one!

I like the concept, I'm having the opposite issue other people did though. I find it a bit easy since you can shoot down some salt and then most enemies will come to you, so you can just have them walk back over the same salt over and over. Fun gameplay mechanic though, shooting down stuff that constantly hurts the enemies!

Cute little game, it reminds me a lot of a game, also named Bubble Ghost actually, I used to play on Gameboy when I was little.

Overall pretty good, my only complaint is that the shotgun felt like more of a downgrade than an upgrade, if you get the can in a corner with the regular pistol you can keep shooting rapidly to get tons of points really quick without really worrying about it ever being able to fall.

Cute little game, I like the aesthetics of it. My one suggestion would be maybe add some kind of reload/ammo mechanic because I could last a really long time just sitting in the middle clicking really fast.

REALLY strange game. The first enemies aren't really very fun or well balanced in my opinion, you just have to walk through the maze backwards and it ends up taking quite a while. The atmosphere is pretty interesting though, if I didn't get killed while I was using one of the arcade machines and the walk back wasn't so long, I'd definitely have wanted to check out more.

It's way too dark to see what's going on unless you're looking down at your feet. I found a key and headed back to the door the ghost came from and then I fell through the map.

Interesting concept but it didn't feel like enough materials spawned fast enough for me to get many upgrades and it was kind of tough getting to any particular wall to mine it after I had blown away most of the main area.

I had no idea what to expect going into this, I thought it was going to be more atmospheric then I was shocked by the multicolored spiders. The spiders are really neat looking though, funny how Oogie Boogie is the boss.

Neat concept, what happened to Mrs. Pacman though?

I like the art, but it could have used a song in the background I think. The last level is pretty tough!

It's a tiny bit annoying that the bar to shoot the ghosts can sometimes appear really early way to the left and barely give you any time to react. My health also seemed to keep going back up and I didn't seem to be able to die and there were no sounds or music if there were supposed to be.

Seems like it could've been creepy but the game kept drifting my aim/view to the right which was a bit annoying and it ran kinda slow. There weren't too many objectives either.

It feels a bit hard to get around and it feels like I'm fighting that more than I'm fighting the demons coming to break the computers. Very interesting concept though, I like it.

I LOVED the music in this one. The honking as a part of the music track was GREAT.

It's strange that the main character is bleeding out everywhere, it felt hard to dodge the guys that shot at me. Nice music.

I was pretty confused playing this. It wasn't really straightforward what the different ghost types did or what the dots meant. I think a tutorial would have been pretty good.
