this game is amazing, it's the perfect mix of quirky interface, adrenaline inducing gameplay and a cute story. It has nice level design, difficulty increases at a perfect pace... I really enjoyed this a lot, thanks for making this game <3

It could really use a soundtrack tho, I played a minimal uptempo techno mix in the background it really helped bring the atmosphere to the next level

I run it on wine and it worked correctly (unless there actually is a soundtrack, in that case audio doesn't work on linux :P )

> I wish i was trans
You either have something to figure out about urself or need to better understand about others, in both cases I wish you the best <3

yes please, I'd love to join

Hi, this sounds interesting, I'd love to hear more, please dm me on matrix @cadmio.matrix.org so we can chat about it

ok so this is based, I only played a little bit and am already hooked, great job. It kinda lacks some music, if you need ping me, I'm mainly a programmer but can make nice electronic music ;)

Anyway, again, great game!

This is one of the best experiences i ever had... I couldn't stop smiling and giggling at my monitor. I had "dating start" from undertale play in the background and I got carried away! Now that I wrote that, this game could use some music, if you want hit me up and I'd gladly contribute some jazz or synthwave/chiptune (or else, that's just what I had in mind), obviously for free.00 ;)
I'd also add some sort of save feature.

Thank you for this beautiful piece of art! <3

Hey I'm interested, never had a chance to work with VAs, I'm cadmium#9485 on Discord, sent you a friend request

loved it

thanks! it worked! for some reason i had deleted python39.zip lol.

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'encodings'

already tried that, same result

Hi when I run vtuber_webcam it shows this error:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'encodings'

and such module cannot be installed with pip3. I noticed there's miniconda there, but i never worked with a venv so i don't know how to fix this...

Thank you! If you toggle "tutorial", your companion will tell you how to relight the fire, but I agree a visual hint could be nice too, maybe only in the tutorial

it works!

wow we actually had the same thought process, I added in the refined version both a windowed option and a dialogue (if you enable tutorial dialogues) for lighting the fire back! There was the chance of you skipping it by accident, I initially just put an empty dialogue line before, but I just realized I already have a way to stop dialogue interactions with a timer. Also the bar growing instead of shrinking is a good idea, thank you!

this seems a really cool engine! Can't wait for more content!

It crashes for unsatisfied requirements, where do i get these libraries?

./cult: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by ./cult)
./cult: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.32' not found (required by ./cult)
./cult: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.34' not found (required by ./cult)

Thank you so much for the feedback! Yes the fullscreen is a bit rough, but pygame's one doesn't work with i3, so I made that dirty thing. Would you suggest adding an "hold" overlay to the snuffed fire, maybe only the first time you do it, to make it clearer?

Thank you! Now it runs flawlessly!

thank you!

Ok I checked, there's in fact a bug in the win thing, i fixed it, check new version ;)

I always love a good sokoban puzzle, and this one is pretty nice! I think that the mouse sensitivity is a bit low, it would be nice some setting to adjust it, but that can be done later... I love that the texture of the block shifts as it moves, I don't know if it's intended but it's very pleasing! Also sometimes my vision glitched in the walls, but I haven't noticed any gameplay bug. Good job!

Thank you! When you hear the footsteps you're safe, if you don't it means they stayed closer, so when you die you don't hear them, with that said it's very probable there are some bugs, I'll try and fix em soon

Sweet! I'll be following development!

it doesn't launch, here's the log https://bin.linux.pizza/?dead5079c93ef263#BpMifvELWJuv4WxUWDaPpFWqaWWdB4ZFbXkhj3...

I know nothing about godot, so i can't help, sorry!

cool

It seems a bit buggy, when closing it dumps core and doesn't always return to normal resolution if it was on fullscreen. Also the enemy ai is kinda fuzzy. With that say, it's a lovely thing!

k thank you <3

it messes a lot with i3, screen flickering on and off, I guess it's a engine bug though. Also, windos>>:><U((((>>>>>::.(((?!?!'!

always love scratch games XD

yep that's nice but it's always better to run native

please please PLEASE linux port

(1 edit)

what os are you on?

On linux is litterally just 2 commands, on windows you need to install python (here), sekect add to PATH during installation, then run

pip install pygame

then open main.py with python

Absolutely EGGcellent
