Big fan of the game, amazing job!
Was initially confused about the mechanics but it all became clear as I played.
The character is really nice, especially the animations.

The game is juicy, vfx and sfx are on point, love the retro CRT aesthetics as well.

Duck hunt in 3d is a really great ideam it could be built upon nicely, Funny enough I also made a duck hunt inspired game for my last game jam lol.

It would technically be unfair yea, but this jam is not ranked and mostly for fun, so I don't think it's that big of a deal if you want to start a little early.
I'd wait to see what the host says tho.

Really creative idea, fun mechanics!
I'd say the game can use a few tutorial levels, the instruction panel was good but interactable tutorial are always better, Other than that the only problem I have is that the game is too short, was a blast playing it overall. Good job!
