Hey thank you! I'm glad you liked it :D
The tileset is not formatted with RMMV in mind(I dont own it so I can't properly test it on this engine), but I think it should have all necessary tiles to adapt it to that engine. Feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any issues with it and I'll try to assist as best as I can :D
Hey! So this tileset actually isnt compatible with any RM out of the box. The tag was added when I was starting out and it didn't really crossed my mind that I shouldn't have added that if it didn't work straight away. Sorry for the confusion! I have removed the tag to avoid that in the future
Yes! You can use the files(edited or as is) in your game(commercial or not).
I'm glad you liked it! Yeah feel free to use it :D
Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the tileset to include those tiles, they are located in the "ts_extras"(except for the "T" shaped walls, which are inside the "ts_constructions", near the door)
That is definitely suppose to be there! I must have missed it when merging the two versions of this tileset.
Thank you for letting me know, I'll try to fix it as soon as I can. Feel free to let me know if you notice anything else missing!
Thank you! Unfortunately at the moment I've been very busy with other stuff so I'm not sure when I'll be able to do more of it. I know it was a long time ago but do you have any suggestions of something you'd like to see in this style, if I ever got to it? :D
Not CC0, but it is free to use in any personal/commercial project.
Yes it is :D
Yes it is :D
hi! its free to use in any personal/commercial projects. Just dont redistribute it.
This one only have a basic 13 tile layout. But for the tiles here it should be enough though
Thanks for showing me this template! I'm currently converting my other assets to have this kind of autotile layout
what the fuck
The characters are not included in this tileset specifically, they're from my "Small Adventure" series. The soldier is from the "Character Pack"(with 16 other sprites), and the other two are included in the free "Small Adventure :: Base Top-Down Tileset"
16x16
Im glad you liked it! I'll try adding a alt version with the chests open sometime this week. Thank you for the suggestion
Right now I'm pretty busy with my main job to work on more assets, but I do have plans to expand as soon as I have some free time on my hands! Thank you for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind for when I do!
Yep! all four directions are included
You're welcome! I don't have plans to expand this free version, but I do want to make some additional packs to complement it.
Right now I'm working on a pack with extra characters. But maybe after that I'll work on some new tiles!
Thanks a lot!
Its currently not but that's a nice idea to add!
Thank you! :D
Thanks! :D
Thank you so much! I took your suggestion and added a few color variations to the grass and dirt together with a new type of ground
Thank you!
That issue should be fixed now! Thank you for letting me know
Thank you! I'm glad you're liking it so far!
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with RMMV at all, and my use of Tiled is very basic so I don't know anything about their Terrain tool either :(
Oh god I *really* need to pay more attention to itch.io e-mails, 3 months late is way too much lol
From what you said I see this like RPG Maker projects, one could decrypt them and get the files, and I'm totally fine with that. So yeah at least do the best you can.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
Unfortunately I dont know of any specific character pack that would work. I thought about making one myself, but freelancing and having a bunch of personal projects kinda put that in low priority.
You can modify it as you'd like and use it for as many projects(games/videos) as you'd like, commercial projects included. Attribution appreciated but not required.
The only thing you can't do is redistribute it in a way another person could just grab that and use it for their own projects. For example: you can't make a standalone map editor and include this asset, but if you're making an map editor tool for your game and you'd like to include this asset(because it is used in the game itself), you can but you'd need some sort of way to encript the raw file so that way it's only accessible through your map editor inside your game.
Let me know if anything isn't clear, I'm still trying to figure out this whole licensing stuff haha
It doesn't come with a psd, but I don't think you would have no problem scaling up the .png file
Thank you so much!
You could use Tiled for that. Tiled is a map creation tool that allows you to export the maps to a image file format, and it is what I used to create the map examples you see here!
Yes you can :D
Yeah, I'm currently working on figuring this stuff out. Thank you for suggesting Creative Commons, I took a look and wasnt too sure about any of them but I'll keep looking.
I don't wanna commit to anything without being sure first. I'll probably put together a little FAQ at the very least this week.
What I can tell you is that you're free to use it in as many commercial projects as you want and you can edit it as you want. The only thing you can't do is sell or redistribute the tileset itself in raw format. For example: lets say you build a map creation tool for your game, you need some way to protect the png file so that way people can't just go to the editor's folder and grab the file and start using it themselves for their own projects without having to buy it from here.
Hopefully that asnwers most questions? Let me know if theres anything else you'd like me to clear up
