This was the solution that I had in my notes, you were more creative :)
When I built a level I make a full solution then I just spare the blocks and actions through the map.

I thought about that but i didn't had time to do it, I started the jam really late on Saturday
After Jam ends i will read a bit more about the exports in godot.
If I work more in the game I will make a "native download" for Windows and Mac.
It was really fun game.
This I Like:
- Nice concept
- You took a "basic idea" but made it a very unique result, i didn't see any game like this in the games i played.
- I could see a potential full game with this idea
Things to improve from my point of view:
- Sometimes you really need to create a lot of movement momentum before taking a jump or it is impossible to jump to the gaps.
- Faster animations after losing, i know when i make something i want everybody to see it, but is kinda frustrating when you lose a lot and wait for all that animations.
- People have 0 attention span, dont spam 3 logos before game even start
I don't comment in all comments but I rate all games from the people that rate my game / comment the thread.
Yes i was made in godot 4, i recommend every unity programmer to mess around with godot, my build was like 10 seg, in unity a game like this would take at least 15 min to build.
It works in mac in chrome (I tested it macbook pro M1) it takes a while to load, but after loading it runs fine.
That's a neat feature to implement thank you :)
Yeah I though the idea was super creative until i saw a lot of games in the jame like that
Thanks, good idea I think is easier to implement click then a drag system, didn't though about it.
I stared too much time to the "preposterous-productions" until i realised i had to press "space bar", the idea is very similar to my game
I replied in your page, it was a good game and we have a same idea but different executions
Nice game, the idea is very similar to mine, I still wanted the player to win and you wanted the player to lose.
I like the art and the gameplay, I just found the controls a bit "hard" for someone not used to the game, and that's why I used mouse control in my game.
yes sir, i was learning blender and i wanted to make some animations, it was all made for the jam models, code, animations, the sounds are free sounds from the internet.
you can see the full project here: https://github.com/micaelsampaio/frogs-life
thanks, it has a lot of bugs that i will fix, balance the stats, improve the bots and spawning, and revamp some features to put it on Google store and update on here.
I have also in mind to test the Multiplayer, battle royale style
1. I had the idea of a sandbox map with a dummy to train and give combos to you perform.
2. Creating attack damage it was a mistake , i should remove the attack, and put block like 1 hit 2 hits 3 hits, the pink bar is your block gauge.
3. I used you comment and updated the page, the collecatable system was completly random i didnt had time to really finish it.
4. That is my secret is litterally the text mesh pro default font :)
I will check it, thank you for you deep dive into the game.
Every time you eliminate someone they drop a collectable, and sometimes is 1 or 50 coins
thanks pal
thank you
the collections system is like collectable[random(collectables.length)] and it is hard, didnt had time to finish that.
I never did anything production ready online stuff, but i think is a good idea, after revamp and rework a lot of thinks in the game with proper time.
yeah, the collection system is pretty random, I didnt had time to tweak and really finish it

The art style has a lot of potentials if is more polished.
Best graphics, I've seen on this jam, did you make all the assets for the jam? They are so damn cute.
The controls should be more fluid not snap as I pressed, i little more interpolation would be cool, but i get why they are like that as I was playing the game.
i really like the visuals
I love the art
Cool Game.
cute game :)
it does not load
do you want to see a grown man cry? :)
why?
Cool idea, try to port it as a mobile game and you will have a lot of downlaods for sure.
Few ideas if you make a jump sound dojnt make a annoying one because you gonna hear it 100 times per level, and put some background music there are a lot of them for free, i did 0 musics and my game had 3 i think all of them roality free.
The blue enemies gave me internet explorer vibes.
