Simple but so effective. One of the best I've played and a really creative take on 'Frogger but you're the car'. Good job!

Great effort for your first game, well done!

Love it! One of my favourite games of the jam. Great presentation, funny, tight gameplay. You've nailed this, well done!

Haha, thanks for ruining it!

Nope, still there. I don't think your rating went through 🙂

Thanks for the feedback!

Fun concept, good work!

Love this idea, and you've managed to implement a lot in 48hrs, good work!

Cool concept and the art style is great. I found it quite difficult because I never knew how much health I had left. The screenshots have a UI in the bottom corner but this seemed to be missing from the windows version?

Looking forward to seeing what you could do with this idea in future, good job!

This game is ridiculous, I love it!

Getting an immediate fail when you crash into the cones feels a bit harsh though. It discourages you from driving as fast as you can, which is what I wanted to do.

Well done!

Love it! Great twist on an arena shooter!

I was losing hearts straight after getting a power-up whilst I moved my hand from the mouse back to the keyboard. It would be nice if you could select power-ups with the keyboard, or if there was a countdown before the game restarted.

Overall a really fun and unique game, well done!

You've got a lot done in 48hrs, well done! I love the idea of a chest sneaking around a dungeon hiding from the 'player'. I ran into a bug where the eye and visual cues show that Keith is alerted even when he isn't but it didn't affect my enjoyment because the audio cues were enough. Good job! :)

Love this game! It feels great to break down weapons with the hammer. I love the presentation as well, great art, music, and lighting.

The performance wasn't great when I went full screen in browser. I almost gave up because I thought the game was too difficult but then I left full screen and it was fine. I'm glad I stuck with it because this is one of my favourite games of the jam, well done!

Thanks for the feedback 🙂

The windows version performs much better than the browser version. I'm sure it's not your skill, I struggle to beat wave 4 on the browser version too 😅

Really fun game with a great style. It took me a while to realise that your type changes to the type you get hit by but that's a great mechanic. There's some depth to this, I only wish it had more rounds! Good work!

Fun game, I failed every time the 'You are GAME' minigame came up though. Some audio-visual feedback might have helped me figure out what I was supposed to do on that one.

Nice concept, great execution. The player reviews are a really fun and creative touch, well done!

Nice concept and a good difficulty curve. I like how the statue's health was integrated into the sprite, rather than just being a health bar.

I think a dodge mechanic would be a nice addition. I got stuck between two lasers(?) and lost all 3 hearts very quickly, so some way to escape from that would be good.

Nice work!

This is a wonderful idea for a game and a great take on the theme. Coming up with a good idea is often the hardest part and you've done that.  You've got a really solid base here, good work!

'Frogger but you're the car' was on our shortlist of ideas but we never thought to use the car to save the bugs. A really creative take on it, good effort!

We were still planning after an hour so fair play.

Cool game! I really love the feel of this.

There is an element of the game playing itself if you don't press anything. You could have gaps in the outer wall that your ball can fall through, which might help to add a feeling of control for the player.

Good job!

Glad you liked it! :)

The windows version performs better than in browser but it could definitely use some optimisation post-jam. I like your ideas to add some more depth to the combat as well, thanks for the feedback!

Great presentation, funniest game of the jam so far for me!

Balancing was an issue for us as well, 48hrs doesn't leave much time to playtest 😅

Really impressive scope for a 48hr jam. It was a bit too difficult for me though.

The balance between spending gold to power up and hoarding gold to protect your stash is a really interesting dynamic. Good job!

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

We discussed adding abilities after each wave, as well as increasing the number of zombies you start with, so this is definitely something we'll address if we work on the game after the jam.

Thanks for the feedback!

Wow, maybe the most creative take on the theme, as well as the most polished game, I've seen so far.

Well done!

The game wouldn't load past 46% for me (Chrome) but the concept sounds interesting!

Cute game, love the art! I found it slightly challenging to click the space I wanted because of the auto-scroll but not too much that I didn't finish the game :)

I had a lot of fun with this one, even if I didn't manage to solve the puzzle.

It might be useful if the pieces had an outline until you placed them in the right position. That would make it easier to tell what shape the pieces outside the square are, as well as providing feedback and a sense of progression as you complete the puzzle.

Good job! :)

Really creative idea and great execution, love this one!

I got stuck with one of the endings because I couldn't find a combination of words to unlock the submit button. Maybe a hint system would help here. Good effort!

Fun game! I like the upgrades but I felt invincible once I was maxed out, it would be good if the cursors scaled up a bit more to increase the challenge in the late game.

Good job!

I like the idea but it would be useful to know what effect the different dragons would have.

After experimenting a bit, I managed to get the princess to the knight (the bouncy dragon came in handy).

This is a great prototype! I really enjoyed the core gameplay loop but I had difficulty following the state of the game (how many coins I had, when I should ring the bell, etc.).

I would definitely come back to this in future if you continued working on it, good job!

Love it! Challenging and replayable. One of my faves so far, good job!

Really funny and creative game, well done!

Love the feel of this game, I could definitely see myself playing it on mobile. Good effort!

Great presentation, well done!

Good job, especially for your first game! Love the animations!

I love the style, one of my favourite games of the jam so far, although it's very difficult.

It will be useful if you could hover over the last card played to see it's effect.
