Hey, thanks! We had a whole framework for sfx in already and even put them into the game, but one of our teammates had git issues that weren't resolved until like 15 minutes before the deadline so we lost all the sfx haha. Thanks for playing!

Fun theming on the infinite running genre (although I know it's not really infinite)! The cutscenes are SO well done, and I had fun chucking items at the "hero"! I would have enjoyed maybe having a loose condition, and I think the relief from seeing the SPOILER at the end while having a loose condition would make the ending cutscene even funnier than it already is. I really enjoyed seeing all the different animations of the hero getting squished and fired up. Great job!

Thanks for playing! You "win" if the newspaper says nothing about a Wikipedia page :) There should actually be a checklist in the case file with "X"es on the left side that tells you what evidence the detectives found so far (6 embarrassing or 3 framed evidences or 10+ turns will end the game). But yeah, making that more clear and having specific pieces of evidence on the case file would be nice! We thought about it but ran out of time haha

Our artist was the only one on the team and was grinding it out, idk how they did it!! I'll pass on the kind words to 'em. Once again, thanks so much for playing, and I hope you had fun!!

I got 35 total! The kind of demonic baaaaaaaaa-ing as music added to the unsettling vibe of the game. The art was great, with those goats(?) and the sheep and the sheep-wolf having consistent styles. It was fun, but  would say the time limit is a little too long, maybe having levels where the goats come more or the minimum gets higher to increase the challenge over time? The intro cinematic was really well done, and I loved the aesthetic, good job!

Yeah np!! Finally got through the end w the second spoiler, so thank you for making this game! (I actually originally saw it on another game, cant take the credit for it!)

I think there is a way to do spoliers! If you go to the description of your game, click the angle brackets for HTML in the formatting bars, and add

<details>

<summary>SPOILERS:</summary>

this is where spoilers go

</details>

to wherever you want the spoiler and then click the angle brackets again, it'll add a little dropdown menu that needs to be clicked before people see the "this is where spoilers go" part!

Wow, what an atmosphere! I'm terrified of that grubby little demon hand and the noises it makes, the visuals are amazing, sfx hit the mark, and the input ouija board is very unique. Our game was actually quite similar, playing as a dead person and manipulating objects, but instead we made the tone a lot lighter. This game's tone was a great contrast! Couldn't solve the mystery, even with the hint you gave in the comments though! I have no clue where the will is... :(

This was a really great game, looking forward to a post-jam version if you're doing one!

Nice! Finished all the levels + bonus. The puzzles were well thought through, and none of the solutions leaned on mechanics I didn't know already. The music was really good, and I had fun playing. Great game!

It took me ~30 minutes?

What a chill game! The vibe is great, the music is... idk how to describe it, visuals are simple but clean. I got to around 150m+, was a relaxing experience all the way up there! I got stuck on a (seemingly) immovable point of darkness, and I couldn't redirect the darkness or get the plant to grow around it using light. Loved the little comments all the way up. Btw, what is the level select with the numbers for?

This was great! Kind of a reverse metroidvania puzzle in a way, very unique concept. Took me ~6 tries to get it down. I thought this would be impossible at first but I think the scope really helped! Since there weren't too many items to give out, after trying a few times you get the gist of who needs what where. A really engaging game, looks great, and very creative! Great job.

I spent like a minute on the title screen listening to that music, and the looping sound sounded like a bass drum. I then decided to make a little backing drum beat for the next 10 minutes, your music is such a bop!! Really good game, with two reversal of roles hidden in there! The story was great, puzzles worked out well, sound design was off the charts, art was charming. Amazing!

Had a lot of fun figuring out combos that paired well when they were on the opposite side of the field, which is something you don't get often in deck builders! Maybe in a post-jam version add sprites to represent who you're dealing to instead of just numbers? Interesting spin on the genre and allowed for different types of synergies, since you were choosing for both people. Great game!

Got through the whole thing. Didn't realize I could double jump so almost didn't get past the second level haha! The concept was interesting, with the beads reversing win conditions and controls. It might've been nice to know which keys did what in the earlier levels? Music was relaxing and this whole game had a consistent vibe. Nice game!

The team definitely didn't underachieve with that game!!! Super enjoyable, love how you learn what achievements you need to avoid in the earlier levels and that stays constant in later ones too. And the final level! I don't want to give spoilers but I have no idea how you made and tested so much good content in. Great work, truly enjoyed this one.

Great puzzle game! Had me thinking a lot about how the ghosts would orientate after I turned it. Freezing time made sure it was a puzzle game and not execution based! One bug if you decide to do a post-jam version: if you pause time, rotate, and while rotating hit a ghost, you get soft locked. That didn't take away from my enjoyment tho! The music shift was really good, and the song is really catchy, the art is clean, all in all a lovely game!

Nice! I really got papers please vibes from the gameplay (not the art or vibe lol), trying to find discrepancies in the quests and find the right one to give to the adventurers. It was really fun, and the art was absolutely amazing!

O. M. G. You're right!!! I'm just an impatient person I guess :) And I was right, I was missing out on a lot! Loved the art, and I love the little touch of the arm also freezing mid-game with you as if the arm was also sentient and watching for humans (I only ducked when humans came). The last level was pretty hard, but in the sweet spot for the difficulty curve: great job on tuning that! I kinda ran around the middle platform, the edges seemed to be just far enough apart where the arm would go up between the two spots. Other strategies I found involved jumping, which on the later levels caused me to get grabbed or not be on the ground for when humans came :O

Great game! Thanks for letting me know it just took a while too, I woulda missed this!

BILLY WILL LIVE ON! Super duper fun, I could tell immediately what type of fish (homing, sin wave, straight forward, fast homing) just by the fish designs, which surprised me a lot. Addicting: I had to get to the end, no matter what! Took me ~4-5 attempts. Got super scared near the depths, wasn't sure if the background vibrating was intentional or a unity thing with pixel art but it actually added a lot of that dread which was great. Loved this one!

Interesting strategy game! The art was gorgeous (I mean look at those cards!) and the gameplay was engaging. The feedback on actions was a little muddled though. I enjoyed the strategy aspect of the game a lot and laying down traps to get the climbers a few turns later was very enjoyable! Great game.

Loved it! The character was so cute stumbling along, and conveyed how they had no control well. I liked the multiple different platforms. Good job!

Didn't expect polandballs in this jam! Very interesting, with good visuals with the map and newspaper, and the concept of flipping HOI4 on its head was super unique. Strategy games tend to have very shallow diplomacy, so it was a good change of pace to have one entirely focused on it. Would be nice to have a few more events, but overall I enjoyed this game!

This made me think a lot! Always move the wolf up first is my strat :) The spirits are very temperamental with their skill level too. I keep on coming up with elaborate strategies but then winning on the next turn haha. I found it fun, but with a good AI I feel like this would be a really good game! (a local-coop mode would work too, and it wouldn't be too hard in a post-jam version.) Visuals were really polished. Very cool game!

Hey, didn't get a chance to play your game bc of Godot 4 not letting Mac users play web builds :(

Our team ran into the same issue, and we were testing on Mac, so we thought it didn't work at all and didn't push a web build. You might want to put a little disclaimer on the game page for Mac users!

Good luck with the jam! The art looks SOO good, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot :)

Good luck with the jam! Your game looks really interesting.

Loved the high pitched voice acting! Found myself chuckling :). Zooming around was pretty fun, got pretty hectic after like ten homing balls came after me. Solid game!

You made a horror game!! That cat is everywhere at all times whenever I turn the camera! The animation was really solid, and loved the screaming trumpets(?) in the soundtrack. I kinda just bolted to the bed after I found it cause the cat can't go under it and I'm a wuss :) But yeah, had fun exploring the house with that cute cat scaring the hell out of me! Great work.

Nice! The leveling system worked well, and it was cool to have all the abilities layered on top of each other. The diver got really hard around round 4, but that might just be me being bad :) And the art. So beautiful with the glow, very deep ocean-like. Overall, cool game!

Love Brian, may he have his peace! Thematically fits, very cohesive in general with the chibi characters and vibes, and funny dialogue. Nice game!

Nice! Loved the minigame frenzy, and unique concepts for minigames too due to the player-computer format as opposed to the normal one. Played each game 2-3 times. The chest one is IMPOSSIBLE for me haha! Must have been a lot of work to program the AI for some of the games. Very fun!

It's really fun to bounce the little guy all over the place! Unique take on the theme. Once I died, Morio was stuck dead forever... permadeath is everywhere nowadays... but yeah! Had a lot of fun getting to the benches and dealing with flinging Morio around with momentum.

Woah. Really polished, really snappy, really fun experience! The dash felt oh-so-good, I felt like I didn't even need the arrow keys!! I wasn't good enough to get past the difficulty spike in level 11 with the six ppl, can't imagine level 15, let alone hard mode haha. The art was really good (although I'm not sure what the little muck monsters were supposed to be, the musty vibe was very coherent) and I had a lot of fun playing it! A tight and polished experience.

Yo!!! This was really well made! Puzzles were at the sweet spot for difficulty for me, the story was simple but sweet, and the rules were internally consistent. One thing, maybe add an indicator to what the pressure plates and buttons do? I got stuck on lvl 2 for a while bc I didn't know the button also opened up a bridge, but I figured it out eventually. The different combinations and contextual controls reminded me a lot of Mario Odyssey, but adding the ability to mix and match captures in cool and unique ways that added to the puzzle elements. Really loved this game!

(Sidenote: Thanks for putting that mac thing in the description! We ran into the same issue but didn't know it was specific to mac so we didn't upload the web build for the jam... but now once the jam is over I can upload a web build that works on windows at least!)

Very cool game! Took me a second to figure out how the keys work, it'd be nice to have an indicator for what doors have a key on the other side. Puzzle was pretty fun, had a nice "aha" moment when I realized how the doors work!

Nice game! I found the concept very interesting, blocking Bert from the end until they get the cupcakes, but you always need a path to the end so you make these long snaking corridors. Making sure the maze always needs a valid solution was a nice solution to the player just blocking off the exit! I found that on level 6, the entire grid would be black and once you reached the end, since there were no cupcakes, it'd say game over. Not sure if the bug is just on my computer since other comments say it worked on level 6... But yeah, I really enjoyed this game's puzzles!

Very cool! I got to the end (had to press R to reset on a level or two, reading the other comments you might want to put that in the description) and it was pretty fun. At first, I didn't realize enemies hitting other enemies would hurt you, or hurting yourself with non-enemy associated items (like the bombs) would hurt a random enemy, but in the later levels (specifically after the three spinning guys hitting the bombs) I wrapped my head around it. Great job!

I didn't think I'd spend so much time on this game, but I did! I felt like I got to know each member and the drama between them. The names were a little hard to track at first, but the recurring cast members in the later years were very memorable to me! Congrats on this wonderful game!

yo i got it second try! was a cool revelation to figure out what the buttons meant (don't want to give spoilers)! the music fit really well too. great jam game!

wow! im surprised at how similar our game concepts were to each other! both about fending away crabs and scaring them away on a beach~

loved the clean aesthetics and simple gameplay! this was fun and sweet, even on trackpad. the tides were a cool touch! i got to the end and got all 100 crabs.

enjoyed ur game a lot!

the combo of moving both characters w the x & y of the mouse was really cool! very fun.

one small thing, maybe increase the contrast between the tree and the coconuts? got a little hard to tell at times.

nice game!
