Hey, no hate, just think your comments through! Developers put a lot of time into their projects and all of them cherish their work. For the future, just avoid words like "disgusting" or anything with a negative tone. Feedback is vital for a Dev, but it has to be clear feedback on what the game does well and what it struggles with! Cheers!

Yo!

Lol, I usually don't comment, but after seeing that kinda mean comment I decided to give a more earnest review of the game! First of all, I really like the art style and how it plays. I can see the Link's Awakening roots and it feels like you added a little bit of Mario with the dives. I was able to get all the Candy in about 43 minutes. I played with a USB Super Nintendo Controller so maybe that helped?

Anyway, here's a detailed list of what I liked and disliked...

Liked:

* The writing, very funny and had a lot of character. Reminded me of Undertale a bit!

* The platforming, though challenging, gameplay was fair so each mistake was your own fault (A golden game design element)

* THE CHECKPOINTS, each checkpoint was strategically placed to keep things fair and doable. I probably would have quit near the end if not for that. (I NEVER want to see a haunted pumpkin AGAIN!!!)

Disliked:

*Nothing, I would have been a little upset if you didn't put enough checkpoints at the end section. HOWEVER, you did which was really good... my fingers still hurt though cause of the precise landings at the end, very brutal.

All in all, this was a very good game for just a side game for your main project. It showed a lot of character and quality, it felt like a game that Nintendo made. You should be proud of your work. I didn't know what Spin Crypt was when I found this, but I'm definitely not going to be able to forget it now!

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to let you know that someone took your game seriously because it deserves that type of attention. Till next time!
