Thank you so much for sharing your journal. I teared up reading it. (╥﹏╥)

I love your sticker collection, and I'm so honored that you chose to part with so much of it with my game!

I'll look at adding community copies once this bundle for Trans Rights in West Virginia ends. If you're in Brazil, I have a deal on my website to get 50% off all my digital games. If you're in another country that you think should be added, feel free to let me know!

I'm not sure what you mean extend the play time or "traditional gameplay." You can play as long as you want to answer the prompts. Some people have managed to play over the course of a few months, spending hours answering the prompts. Some only spend a few hours playing. Take a look at the free preview on the page to get a sense of gameplay, and I think that should give you ideas on how you can lengthen time.

I did a flip through of this game!

What I really love...

  • Gambling as procedural generation: Players can bet souls on a custom-designed sic bo board, and the GM (or captain) uses that to build out how the next day's challenges will come.
  • Character playbooks overflowing with flavor: Building a character is quick and doesn't require rolling any stats. The inventory selection for each playbook is precise, with any item offering a wealth of opportunities for backstory.
  • Clever use of custom and public domain art: The book's layout captures the essence of The Divine Comedy, passing on the gloomy and forbidding tone of its inspiration.
  • The strong writing: Distilled vignettes, hints of lore, glimpses of setting, whispered voices, and variety haunting epilogues make this game a pleasure to read. It's easy to see how the playbooks, setting, and captain rules can work together to create a focused and thematic game.

The text provides methods for creating a one-shot, few-shot (a few sessions), or full campaign!

OHHHH!!! can't wait to read it!! Thank you so much for the link!

The Tangled Blessings game jam has wrapped up and the winners have been announced!

Hosts choice: Tangled Blessings: Monstrous Supplement

I just really love how this supplement folds into the original game and adds onto the existing prompts. It adds a really elegant layer of storytelling and random twists.

Randomly selected winner: Tangled Blessings: Prompt Tables

Kat put together a great selection of tables that are sure to make any playthough of Tangled Blessings more fluid!

All the entries are fantastic, and I encourage you to take a look at at all of them! Featuring masquerade entries, a book club, a special summoning, new creature pets, a twist on the exam, study abroad prompts, a band addition, new NPCs, and more, there's so much delicious content to explore!

Thank you so so much to everyone who submitted!

The Party of One Podcast with Jeff Stormer posted 2 fantastic episodes of Tangled Blessings featuring the amazing Cat McDonald! Meet two brothers destined for greatness or... to be just guys.

I loved loved loved this playthough. Cat and Jeff play off of each other so well.

Amazing!!

Hello! I'm pleased to tell you that you've won one of the candles! If you want to claim your prize, please email me your mailing name and address. My email is [email protected]. Please include the subject: Tangled Blessing Jam Winner. Thanks so much and congratulations!

This was so fun! If players want to add it to their game, it might be easier to have a separate tarot deck, but otherwise this folds in really nicely! Your prompts are diverse, thematic, and packed with tension-filled implications. You do a wonderful job of balancing flavor with open-endedness. Thanks so much for submitting to the jam!

This is so extensive! My favorite sections include the fiction inspired by the game, the NPCs, and the new locations! There's so much though, it's really hard to pick. I like the new prompts for summer break and the alumni section. Lots of good stuff here to tuck into any playthrough of Tangled Blessings!! Thanks for submitting to the jam!

What a fun way to generate a fae-bound adventure! I love how this can fold into a Tangled Blessings playthrough pretty easily! The prompts are luscious and the narrative text is evocative. There are a lot of outcomes that will produce thousands of unique playthroughs that are sure to have interesting influence over the main game. Thanks for submitting to the jam!

This is a really clever add-on! I love the use of dice for scoring and how thematic the questions are. The layout nails that standardize test look and is a great opportunity for players to explore how magic works in their worlds. Thanks for submitting!

WOW! This is a really creative idea and I feel like the flow of the rules makes a lot of sense! The lore, narrative voice, and characters are fun, thought-provoking, and flavorful. The doom aspect is fun and a great way of exploring storytelling.

My only thought is to recommend that players use a second tarot deck for easier shuffling since this add-on requires all the major and minor cards be shuffled together. That's if they want to use this at the same time as they play through Tangled Blessings. Great work!

This is such a fun expansion! I feel like it works great for years 1-2! What a creative way to build out the world and new NPCs!

These prompts have so much atmosphere, flavor, and set dressing! I really like how they add to the world while still leaving gaps for the player to fill. I also enjoy how you tie the rival into each prompt. Great job on this!

WHOA! I love this! I really like how the major arcana cards affect the rest of the game. Great layout, design, and flavor!!

These tables are thematic and brimming with flavor. You did a wonderful job with the layout too! It captures the aesthetics perfectly!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm having trouble understanding the second part of your comment. I have a video here that explains how the final exam works:

I posted a flip through on my YouTube channel! I really love how players unlock devices that further unlock new prompts. What a neat concept!

This is a lovely addition to the base game! The bookmark section is clever and magical. Thanks so much for sharing!

I'll do my best to answer the questions as quickly as possible.

This is great! I love how easy it fits into the main game!

I think I get all the rules, but how do you create discourse? How many dice do I roll to see how many people get cancelled?

Oh wow! I love your art style so much! Thank you for sharing!!

Yaaay!

Knave of Cups should have sent you one! If they didn't, then there's something not working on their end. Do you mind reaching out to them so they can correct it if there is a technical error? Feel free to email me at [email protected] if they can't get it figured out!

I'm glad the game made you feel inspired! I adore Wanderhome as well!!

Thank you so much for review copy!  I'm so impressed by the attention to detail across every piece.

The creators were kind enough to send me a free copy. Take a look at the physical edition!

I did a quick video of what you'll find inside this great game!

Thank you so much for sharing all your pictures! That's strange that the audio files weren't coded or numbered for you. They are in every music player we tested, but Windows Media Player tends to want to put them in alphabetical order for some reason. Is that the music player you used? Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are hoping to create a small (free) DLC pack at some point in the future, but no date has been set. Maybe 2024!

It's just narrative/RP-based. There is no official mechanic for it, but having thought of it ahead of time might give you more strings to tug as you answer the prompts. Enjoy!

Here's the video that's promoting the Kickstarter!
