love this! plus just a genuinely nice game to play when you're bored

thanks for the feedback! i was going for a puzzle game with the grid movement at first but thought i'd stray away from level designing, i'm still fairly new at the arcade style. all noted.

thanks! i'll improve on them

:(

thanks! really am planning to improve the style

i really do love the concept but the gameplay makes it very frustrating. the static camera is positioned in a way that  makes you blind to obstacles when going backwards and does not blend well with the controls(joke unintended).

It was actually really fun! i enjoyed it really well! i guess my only suggestion is just add some more obstacles like platforms or walls

This was indeed the craziest experience of my life, i broke into a random castle looking house, got chased down by jumbo josh, door exploded on my face then the door gods offered to help me. this goes wild

Artsyle looks awesome! the control binds were a bit weird, tho and i don't really like the jump. regardless, awesome work!

Right off the bat, heavy Karlson vibes. graphics are great, music is also great, though to me i feel like it lacks what really makes speed platformer fps fun. the player sticks to walls, had no fun movement skills (wallrun, slide, etc, a small nitpick of mine i'll be honest), movement was wonky for me and the stages were a bit lackluster. regardless, i still love the graphics, great work!

Really does give off heavy pizza tower vibes, movement feels too slippery tho. Good work!

I think i understand what the main gimmick is supposed to be but it's really hard to tell, it is creative tho i'll tell you that. really needs more time being cooked.

pretty cool concept!
i saw the ending coming from a mile away tho lol, still funny
my only suggestion is probably fix the dof (it felt like i needed my glasses)

It's a cool concept, reminds me of the observation duty games
though i do wish you couldn't see the doors getting flipped, and also having a reminder that a report is ongoing would help out alot. other than that, great game!

it was alright, i do have a decent amount of suggestions tho.
first off, i don't think incorporating the theme to the upgrades wasn't the best approach, it just makes the upgrading phase a bit useless as having 1 door doesn't change much of anything. if i could add something to that, i'd add a percentage of what upgrade the player would most likely get on each door (like "67% +2 Speed", "58% +5 Max Health") so the player can have an upgrade to target instead of being completely blind while still incorporating the theme to it.
second off, the gameplay wasn't really engaging and the map is too cramp with nothing in it. for the gameplay, i'd add more enemy types as well as a small knockback when the enemies get hit so the player can slow them down (knockback can be an upgrade), and for the map i'd just make it a bit larger with hallways and flank routes so the player can explore more of the area.
third off, it just needs more game juice, i'm not gonna mention all of my ideas for it but i'd recommend seeing the common methods of adding them and see how you can incorporate them to the game by yourself.
regardless, cool game!

i really like the puzzles! they got my brain braining, maybe a little too much tho, so a slight difficulty nerf could be pretty handy. other than that i really do suggest adding in some more audio cues like when a button is pressed, when a box falls into a hole, etc. a bit more visual feedback could also be handy like the doors having a dust particle effect and being brighter when opened (darker otherwise), and maybe adding a ui element with K(blue)+L(red) with the use similar to the crosshair in Portal, then make the portal doors entirely orange and blue instead of just having outlines of those colors. regardless, great game!

pretty enjoyable, although it does feel somewhat empty. my suggestions are maybe add some more interactions throughout the house, and also maybe add some more observation mechanics with not-so-obvious clues so you really have to observe the person outside. regardless, pretty good game.
Edit: i also noticed you can't really do anything once there is a murderer at the door, is that supposed to happen?

eyy that was pretty fun! maybe a little too hard at the start trying to remember what looks = what item, but once you do it's pretty much smooth sailing. maybe making the player be able to open the drawers regardless if there's a client or not could help out alot when trying to find some items. the door bug does get annoying at times, but very good game, i enjoyed it!

i'll play and rate them, i just need you to send your submissions here so i don't get lost, it will be greatly appreciated if you do!
at the same time, you can also rate my game! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535267

brother we got the same game lmao

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535267 here this was supposed to be scary but deadline hit me

This is amazing! It's very creative and very fun! The only issues I've had were the mouse sensitivity and the game isn't that optimized well (my laptop couldn't handle it lol) Great work!

It's pretty impressive for a gamejam, but I'm not much of a turn-based JRPG fan and wished it was faster (not really a problem with the game). Good job!

It's a great idea, but not really executed to its fullest potential. I like this concept of diving deeper better than most in the jam, it's super fun! but I think it should have a health system or a consequence for losing oxygen. With that system , you could add air pockets and caves underwater to regain oxygen and instead of an upgrade shop you could instead have to find parts underwater to upgrade the submarine, then bringing the big treasure to land to win. Just giving some ideas of mine, you don't have to add them but either way, Great game!

Thanks! I'm not much of a musician but I was willing to try and make music but I ended up not having the time :p.

Very Awesome! Gameplay is very fun! Although, I think there should be a way to slow down the lava or maybe get a faster pickaxe for mining.
The procedural generation can be pretty questionable at times tho :p

Pretty awesome idea! Atmosphere is great and gameplay is also pretty fun! Very nice! :applause:

I find the art styles in the game don't really mix well and I also find it pretty hard to distinguish which objects would let me through and which don't. I also feel like holding shift is pretty useless if there's no stamina bar and would just prefer the normal speed be faster. But overall, pretty solid game!

It's pretty solid, but the snapping does get me kinda confused sometimes and it lead me to spamming the snap button until I find what was hiding. Overall, pretty nice!

This is pretty sick! the visuals are gorgeous and I very much enjoyed how simple yet effective the game is! It really forces you to stay put and pay attention! Very great game! :applause:

Absolutely stunning!  Everything feels extremely polished and well made! From the graphics, story, movements, and audio! But something I'm not sure was intended was the ability to spam shoot and the explosion ability, it was funny at first but seems a bit unfair for the enemies lol. The final ability had me questioning why it was there before the ending just answered it for me. Very amazing! :applause:

I'm surprised I got the Escape ending first :P
Pretty creepy atmosphere, very mysterious, I love it! Well done!

I really love the art style with how it looks! And the story is also very well done! Although, the movement can feel pretty stiff and cause me to fall to my death. I also sometimes suddenly die when falling  from a low platform and can be pretty frustrating at times. Overall, Very gud! :)

This is very unique! I really like how the puzzles play out! Though it does feel very empty without any audio and it could help make the game pop a lot more with effects. Overall, very nice.

It's definitely an interesting one, but I can't help but point out how confusing everything is. It took me a while to finally understand what I was doing, I feel a tutorial or an explanation in game would definitely help a lot. It also feels really awkward to shoot due to how long the recharge time is and how weak it feels, moving also feels awkward as the guy just slides around. Overall, a pretty solid entry!

oh yeah, the camera bug. i wanted to fix it but i feel it's not really a gamebreaking bug more of an inconvenience. i also just realized how large the spike hitboxes are after submission.  sorry about that, glad you enjoyed!

ahh ok ok i understand now thanks man!

oh yeah, i was having trouble with the screen size. when i set the resolution in the player setting to 1920x1080, it was more zoomed in. that's why i set it to 1360x768. but yeah, i'll try to fix it

It's the man from discord! ! !

Very awesome game, no need to explain why. but if there's anything i want to complain about is this :

Oh, no that's alternative inputs you can use for different control schemes. you only need to press one of them
