I have a terrible habit of making the first stage of a shmup, and then just thinking "but people could just go and play ZeroRanger instead"

Oh, no - I like your games - and I'd definitely pay for this shmup. And I bet there would be more willing to pay.
Anyway - Thank you for these great games, great ideas.
