I found the grappling mechanic really fun, but I don't really feel any momentum when I let go of it. I could have a massive swing with a lot of power behind it, and then let go and slow down to the normal walking speed, which doesn't feel good in a feel sense. very creative however, and with a few touch-ups could be a really cool game. make sure to rate mine too!
Very cool and unique game, I just wish you could keep more of the momentum after releasing the grapple and it was sometimes hard to see where the next crystal was, so maybe the camera should be slightly ahead of the player, but it's still a very creative take on the theme

Quite fun, to improve I would make the horizontal movement feel less slow, like how you tend to lose horizontal momentum when letting go, but not vertical, which felt kind of strange. But apart from that, you managed to make the grappling feel decently satisfying.

3:56! hah. To be honest i never liked grappling games but for some reason i found this game satisfying. although it was a bit hard at the end where you go up and you couldnt see the crystals. I think the art style is quite simple but i feel like it would be easy to expand and improve quickly as its litreally a potato and some tiles. :)
Nice game! Sometimes losing momentum in the air can be frustrating, but I mean you play as a potato that is holding a gun how can you not like this

I find the art to be a little lacking, like you were able to stylize the lava really well but the checkpoints, the character and the rest of the level doesn't really look great. I find your mechanic quite unique and actually brilliant. Only if it was executed better, the AD movement feels floaty, maybe you should add acceleration and make it a lot faster(I feel like this would actually make the game way more fun). I know the mechanic itself is a little complex and it is understandable how you didn't have any time left. Finally unfortunately the leaderboard didn't work for me. Still a solid entry, good job!

Cool game. It felt weird that sometimes when you try to swing you stop in midair and lose your momentum when you let go of a crystal but other than that, really good game.

art does the job well, it’s clear what is what
you picked quite a tricky mechanic to do and make feel right and I think you did pretty well.
the main area of improvement IMO is that it would be nice to see either a zoomed out view or just having more hook endpoints on the screen to really bounce between them. for most of what I could experience you go from a hook point and swing onto another one that is/was offscreen, this could be fine later on once the mechanics are more established IMO.
my perception is that you achieved what you set out to do with your game within your choices of scope and limitations… so thumbs up
