Did you work in a team?
solo project
Was the resolution a challenge?
64x64 is lots of fun to work with... displaying text is definitely a challenge.
What did you learn?
Always wanted to make a zombie game. Jam time is too short thought, I wanted to add much more features: different weapons, people to save, etc.

Fantastic! Can't find anything to carp about (unusual for me!) so top marks!
Thanks mr_happy! So glad you liked it!
So cool!
The visuals and the audio are both excellent. Everything looks smooth and connected visually, and the audio is like a cherry on top. Considering the gameplay, I enjoyed it very much. Shooting is very impactful and satisfying. Killing a zombie has never been more fun for me before! The only thing I'd like to see on top of the current design would be a melee weapon and maybe shooting vertically. The resolution restriction seems to be utilized very well too.
Excellent job!
Pretty good feedback, Beez! Thanks a lot for playing it!
Nice game! Limited ammo makes that you have to think carefully about which zombie to kill and which to dodge. Also, I like that zombies can walk through rooms, it makes you feel unsafe even if you have cleaned them.
Thanks for your feedback, Yxure! Glad you liked the game.
That was a fun game! I love the sounds and the background sfx, really creates a city menacing atmosphere. I must admit I cheated after my 4th play just to see the whole game and went crazy with my health and ammo :D but that still was a lot of fun!
Thanks Gregory! Glad you liked it... tbh, I had less than an hour before the deadline and I still had no music... then I had the "brilliant" (aka cheap) idea of just adding "creepy" background noise to give it a sense of apocalyptic dread. :D
Do you mean cheat as in you had to modify the code to get lots of health and ammo?
Yep totally meant that, I was almost ready to add an Amiga styled trainer to your game (from the BBS) for a personal version!
haha good... I was afraid you found an unintentional exploit somewhere. Not familiar with the Amiga trainer stuff, but that sounds cool :D
nice pixel art and athmosphere! loved the blood effect too!
thanks rujogames! glad you enjoyed it!
nice game, killing zombies is very satisfying with the blood effect you have made in this game.
as the previous comment said, shooting up/down would be great.
overall, good job.
Thanks for the feedback, MFauzan! I'll see what I can do about the up/down situation in a post-jam version.
that was great! I spent a lot of time on my first try just killing every zombie I could see, and then I was like “wait, where do I find the ammo again?” and I died haha. Went much further on my second try… Good job, it was a super fun game, you totally captured the fact that zombies are stupid and slow!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, tducasse! Glad you enjoyed playing the game! :)
Great job! I really like the blood splatters and the fire animations. It would have been nice if it had some background music and a goal to do.
Thanks, Spicy! I had the intention for adding more features, but unfortunately I ran out of time... the goal became to simply to survive by exiting the city. I might polish the experience a little bit post-jam... thanks a lot for playing it!
Your game is great! Aiming up and down may be a bit lacking, but the zombie radar helps. Playing was fun :-)
Thank you so much for playing and rating it, Wadware!
Really liked having to search for ammo when I was out. Agree on up/down shooting, but it also added to the tension and tactics you had to use. Good job!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, Johan!
Nice job… missing maybe a way to aim up/down. Limited to only side shooting makes it quite hard when moving into nearby rooms up/down.
Thanks for playing, Carlos! I agree it's awkward to do room transfers up and down. It was an early decision I made to make it different and have a constrained feel. I was planning on making sure the rooms were designed so that it wouldn't feel like you had to wait for zombies to move out of the way before making progress. I might adjust things a bit in a post-jam version. Thanks again for the feedback, dude!
