I had a very similar idea, think it's super clever and glad someone else executed on it. The art is SUPER cute and playing co-op is also a great feature. Really really like this 10/10

Great visuals, I love the art style. However, the game needs polishing and SFX. I wish I had a friend to play it, because it looks fun to play.
Unfortunately I'm unable to play this with someone at the moment... but I wanted to say that the art is truly adorable!

Really cool concept, and cute graphics. I wish I could admire the graphics more but the camera was angled a little bit too steeply. Still, it was fun to play with my roommates, nice job!
Thank you! Really happy to know you and your roommates enjoyed this game! Currently the orientation of graphics is a bug and if fixed all cute graphics will face vertically so you can see all of them more clearly. We considered the solution of adjusting cameras but it was not easy to balance the general viewing experience and seeing all graphics. We hope we can fix the bug soon to improve your game experience!

I see that a lot of effort was put into the game and it seemed to be overscored for a 48h game, but I can't figure out why sometimes I just lose :/
Sorry that happened to you :( For your information, in our game you only lose when you do not have a King (6) on your board! If there is no other bugs, you might have accidentally moved your king, and it transformed itself to another piece (e.g., bishop (3)) when it moved
