Creative game mechanic packaged in a minimalist art style, I love it! It did become quite tough when the door have timers on them, not only have I got to figure the level out, but also execute the moves flawlessly in sequence quickly each time! Well done on good game! :D
really fun platformer! feel good to finally beat it after all these retries
Great idea fitting the theme very well. I like the simple look of the game. Maybe the distance from the ball needed to grab it might be a bit larger. Nicely done!
Super fun! It felt like I was utilizing physics in an old cartoon like classic Tom and Jerry. It felt amazing and the minimalist art style fully complemented the gameplay. Adding some juice (like screen shake) with some good sound effects could make this into a super amazing puzzle platformer.
Overall, great game! Check out my game if you get a chance!
Nice work cosmomoney! I loved this concept, it felt very original. The physics on the ball felt refined, with a bit of graphics this could be a really excellent puzzle platformer. Excellent game for 48 hours ^^
Good puzzles, I like how some are deceptive so you need to put work on the noggin!
Cool concept but I found the controls a bit hard to control which made the timed levels too hard for me
Good puzzle-y levels! :) Good job! :)
Nice game, I like the physics.
Definitely the best in class for this genre of "join together" game. The physics were spot on and I never felt cheated by it - figuring out the best path to take and getting the timing right was really satisfying.
Great work!
Simple but effective and original to use an object to be join and not another player like many other :D
Hey, really fun and enjoyable game. The player control feels super smooth and nice, congrats!
I really enjoyed your game! I think that having this kind of mechanic brings high skill ceiling so i spent a fair amount of time completing all the levels. The only problems I encountered were that ball sometimes just stopped for no reason and one time I got him through the ceiling.
Thanks! Yeah both of those things happen sometimes, both have something to do with collisions, but I couldn't fix them in time. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I like the concept! With a little more juice like sound effects and animations on the player/ball for jumping/landing, etc it would be a really polished puzzler! :)
I was apprehensive about the time limit at first but it's actually good as a threat in a game like this. Fun but quite difficult.
Great concept but this is way too difficult to play, and not because it takes getting used to but because there's not enough options for the player movement. You should be able to control the strength with which you throw the ball, and you should be able to pull yourself when hanging off a ledge. So while this is a great concept, and it is fun when it works, it is difficult to enjoy as is. Right now the controls feel too restrictive.
Thanks for the feedback! I intended on it being pretty difficult (mostly because the game is only about 10 levels long), but with that being said some of the last levels are probably too difficult (and can be frustrating for some people). I definitely could add some way to change throw strength (or maybe a couple buttons to throw at a different strength each). I'm not sure about adding a way to pull yourself up though, I think that would ruin a lot of the "traps" in the levels. Thanks for playing!
Nice Idea, I feel like a "Preview" of how the Ball would Fly would be helpfull to better see how it could pull you.
Nice game. It's a fun idea but can be a little annoying to control. I would suggest being able to aim the ball with the mouse, and use space for jump. My game has a very similar mechanic using the mouse if you wanted to check that out.
Came to check out your game from your comment on mine and I agree, it's crazy to see how different another interpretation of the same idea can be- although we even both had orange squares as the player character, which is a crazy a coincidence. I love your interpretation though, throwing the ball around and getting pulled right along with it is a ton of fun, and the time limit on later rooms keeps the pace quick which is great. Great job! Great minds think alike!
Was waiting for it to ramp up and it did not disappoint! Good use of physics -- especially the friction of the player which you don't need to take into account in the early levels -- to make the later ones trickier.
