How does your game fit the theme?
You control a cavern junk collector, to feed the radiation cloud. Your junk collector has the ability to magnetize & join junks together to satisfy the radiation cloud's hunger. Be aware of holding too much junk though, as you will become more vulnerable to the Kars debris!

Nothing to say except that the gameplay loop is too repetitive. Maybe adding random events or more "enemies" could help. Great game!
I agree! Thanks for playing :)
The concept of this game is pretty good. The artwork as well as the SFX is very nice. However, I found that there is a minor issue that sometimes the hunger rate of the cloud didn't match the number of junk blocks I delivered. But anyway, this is really a nice work for 48 hours!
Nice idea! Not sure why the radiation cloud is that hungry, but it's fun to feed it while avoiding the obstacles, interesting take on the theme!
Really cool concept! :D Very fun to play, I would ramp up the scoring though :D I mean I worked hard and had 7 points, it feels like it's not a lot :o Maybe make em like in 100's and add some system where the overcharged blocks gain you additional points (because it's 'difficult'). Als you could add extra points floating in the masses, then you have to manoeuvre to get these as well :D Nonetheless a really good submission! :)
Such a great idea, and the execution is top notch. When the junk snaps magentically to your ship, it feels so satisfying! The art style is also very cool. Gameplay gets so frenetic with time, great job!
Really glad that you enjoyed it!
Adorable concept! One main thing I would add is a white outline to the text on the controls page, It was a little difficult to read the text at some portions. Aside from that it was an interesting play, and very cute!
Thanks for your feedback! Definitely agree with the text, it was a UI design 101 issue XD
xD totally understandable! At least you had a tutorial! I know my team ran out of time to add one lol
The Music and looks of this game are fantastic. I love the arcade nature of this game, and having to maneuver your junk around is a fun challenge. My only complaint is that the character does feel a bit like they are slippery like they are on ice so some times debris would spawn and the controls would make it so I couldn't move in time. Otherwise phenomenal work
Thank you for your feedback! yea, definitely something to improve on controls!
Hi gladgib!
The music you selected for this game is perfect and the 2.5D perspective coupled with your art style made for an overall very pleasing player experience.
It might just be a personal preference, but I felt like having to aim with the mouse didn't work as well as I had hoped. A lot of time I would get to my precious green junk and right before grabbing it my ship would 360 and push the junk away. It ended up being another thing I had to consider, which is all well and good! But, I would recommend a little more smoothing on the ship turn, just to align ship behavior with player expectation.
Overall great little Asteroids-style arcade game! Good luck in the jam!
Best,

Hey Brandon, thank you for your feedback! Glad that you enjoyed the good music choice & art.
I agree with your feedback on the 360 thing as I personally felt it myself too, tried to adjust smoothing but was worried it will slow the rotation by too much & ended up focused on other things instead. Nonetheless it was worthy feedback, thanks and good luck moving forward :)
Interesting idea, and i liked game difficulty. good job :)
Yeh really hard to get a decent score because the cloud doesnt count the correct amount of delivered blocks but fun concept and really nice mechanics that felt loose and swingy which felt right for the spaceship vibe. Nice game.
A bit hard at first but interesting concept! Loved the music too
Good concept with nice graphics. I'm not shure but I think sometimes the counting of the delivered blocks did not match the amount of blocks I collected. And in the main menue I haven't found an quit button? Overall good game :)
This was a fun arcadey style game. I liked the tension when trying to slip between falling rocks. Movement did get a bit weird when I was holding a lot if rocks.
Nice game! The only feedback I would have is to make the sound effects louder, and also to make the controls a bit better - I'd often spin out and be unable to control my orientation. Good job!
Very fun! I love the music and the controls are just drifty enough to where they feel fun to move with. However, I would recommend you let the player know that they can drive into the small rocks, as at first I thought they would damage me too, but actually I needed to pull them into the radiation cloud.
Hi tipx2, glad that you enjoyed the game! I agree that there is lacking guidance to new players, but I put the effort for implementing tutorials inside the game to be lower priority for a 48 game jam, hence why I try to direct players to the itch.io game page itself to learn the game mechanics. I agree with your feedback though, thanks!
I will be trying yours & others' games too
