Some really great puzzle design on display here! Really only "criticism" is with some floor tiles being white, having your character on them can make it hard to tell which direction you're facing.
Cool idea. It came with some hard puzzles
My brain had to work hard after using 99 steps
Very interesting and fun puzzles, some were very challenging (in a good way!). The game is also very pleasant to look at :) (even if pre-existing art was used, the color palette and composing of the assets are very well done) I did feel like sometimes the controls were a bit confusing (resulting in accidental moves that ended up causing me to die and having to restart a level), but I was not extremely bothered by this. Overall, a great game!
Thanks! Yeah we changed the controls a few times, but it's something we'd have to look at if we continue with it.
Nice, well done!
Really well done, very pretty and well designed, good job introducing new mechanics at appropriate intervals
The curse is broken!
Absolutely loved this game! By far my favorite game of the jam. It fits the theme perfectly, it's super fun and beautiful.
That said, the game is in desperate need of an undo button. It's really frustrating having to redo a whole sequence of precise movements just for a little missclick. Specially if it's a queued key press that sends you back to the beginning.
Other than that, I seriously loved it! Only perfect score I've given out of around 30 ratings so far.
Good point, maybe a death shouldn't restart the whole level. That's something we would have to try out. Thank you!
Great idea -- really enjoyed playing it!
Simple mechanics but challenging puzzles. Nice game!
I have no idea how you created such a fun, unique, and polished experience within the time constraint. This is incredible!!! I hope to see it built upon even more, and I can't wait to see what you make next!
Thanks a lot!
I believe, this is the coolest submittion for the jam. You should look to make more levels and release it. And also controls. They are not uncomfortable, but a bit wierd .
Thanks, that means a lot!
We initially used direct controls so that pressing UP always moved your character up instead of forward to where it is facing. This made the enemies much harder to predict though. How do you think we could improve it?
I think you should use wasd or arrows to move, but if character do not rotated to the direction it will rotate, and move only at the second step .
Auto-rotating could be nice, thanks for the feedback :).
We prefer tank controls but maybe direct inputs could be used on wasd with the current movement behavior on the arrow keys.
Art style and music is very cute, the gameplay is very fun and challenging at times, I feel like a small indicator of each character's rotation would be great (e.g. a small arrow appearing somewhere close to the character's model), as it can become hard to read, especially in levels with lots of enemies. I love the retro vibe and overall mood of the game, it's really great.
By the way, I really enjoy the theme in global map area. You should make it downloadable or put it somewhere on the music streaming services!
We used this song:

It's also listed in the credits (a sign in the village).
Ah yes, I must have skipped the part of the game's description of art and music being pre-existed - nonetheless, you guys made a great use of it to create a unique gameplay experience!
Thank you.
Yeah, sometimes it can be hard to quickly see the rotation of enemies. For next steps better visual communication would be one of the first things to do.
what a wonderful game
Nice puzzle. Feels like turn-based Zelda. :D
The control is a bit weird, but this is a clever puzzle game! It's very neat when you finally cornered the enemy and slashed them off! Hope you continue working on the game, I find much potential in this entry!
Cool game, Liked the unique puzzle mechanic!
Interesting game! I liked the puzzles!
very cool game!
Thank you
no, thank YOU ;>>>
Good job!
Thanks :)
Really enjoyed it!
