I have been having so much fun with my darning loom lately. It is the perfect size for a quick weaving snack when I only have a few minutes of time to be creative. This hat had stains on the front and even though it didn't have any holes, I thought a colorful patch would be a cute way to wear my love for weaving.  1. Gather your materials. I used embroidery floss but you could also use a thin string or yarn.  2. Attach the darning loom to the area you want to weave. Cut the floss and warp it between the hooks and the fabric.  3. After I had been embroidering for a few years, I started hearing the term orts. I wasn't really sure what it was being referred to or if I was missing something in translation.
