The Roman senator L. Marcius Celer Marcus Calpurnius Longus dedicated an altar in honor of Poseidon on which is engraved an epigram evoking a hunt and the sacrifice of several animals (found in Karamanlı in the plain of Tefenni). Although the text has already been edited and commented by Th. Corsten (Adalya 9, 2006, p. 53-61) and J. Nollé (Gephyra 2, 2005, p. 179-195) on the social origin of the dedicant and on the high literary level of the text, however the question of worship has been little discussed. The gathering of testimonies on the worship of Poseidon in the pisidian area reveals that the god was also venerated by the peasants in the form of a god-rider of Anatolian origin. The papers collected in this book are the result of training-research days and cross-border meetings held in Besançon and Friborg (Switzerland). The book deals with the making of history and its dissemination in connection with the scientific publishing or popularization environment, evokes various sources requiring specific knowledge and know-how, and develops an epistemological and methodological reflection on the tools of research in the fields of history, philology and literature, especially new digital technologies.

The six very well-preserved funerary inscriptions that we present in this article in French language, deposited at a museum in southwestern Turkey, are from the Hellenistic and Roman period. They are unpublished, except one which had to be revised (n ° 4).
