Tarımda istihdam eden nüfusun giderek azalması ve yaşlanması tarımsal üretimin sürdürülebilirliği... more Tarımda istihdam eden nüfusun giderek azalması ve yaşlanması tarımsal üretimin sürdürülebilirliğine ilişkin endişeleri arttırmaktadır. Bu nedenle çoğu ülkenin gençleri tarıma yönlendirmeye ilişkin kalkınma ve destekleme projelerine ağırlık verdiği görülmektedir. Türkiye'de ise ziraat eğitimi almış gençlerin tarımsal üretime kazandırılmasına yönelik "Kırsal Kalkınmada Uzman Eller Projesi" yürütülmeye başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, tarıma yönelik eğitim almakta olan gençlerin projeden haberdar olma durumları, yararlanma düşünceleri ile buna etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesi ve tarıma yönelik tutumlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi öğrencilerinden Mart-Nisan 2022 tarihlerinde yüz yüze anket yoluyla (129) elde edilen veriler çalışmanın ana materyalini oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğrencilerin çoğunun mezuniyet sonrası tarım ile uğraşma düşüncesinde olup bu düşüncede en önemli etkenin ailenin tarımsal üretimde bulunması olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ancak projeden yararlanmak isteyen gençlerin oranı oldukça düşüktür. Projeden yararlanma isteğinin düşüklüğü; henüz yaygınlaşmaması, hibe tutarının yetersizliği ve yararlanmak isteyenlerden çok fazla ön koşulun aranmasıyla açıklanabilir. Projenin başarıya ulaşmasında girişimciler için faaliyet kolları dikkate alınarak farklı ve yeterli miktarda hibe tutarlarının belirlenmesi önemli görülmektedir. Ayrıca gençlere yönelik programların başarıya ulaşmasında kırsaldaki yaşam standartlarının iyileştirilmesine yönelik politikaların geliştirilmesi önem arz etmektedir.
Bu çalışmada Yozgat ilinde bazı tarla ürünlerinin (buğday, şeker pancarı, arpa, yeşil mercimek ve... more Bu çalışmada Yozgat ilinde bazı tarla ürünlerinin (buğday, şeker pancarı, arpa, yeşil mercimek ve nohut) üretim maliyetleri hesaplanmış ve karlılık durumları analiz edilmiştir. Tabakalı Tesadüfi Örnekleme Yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenen 137 bitkisel üretim yapan işletmeden yüz yüze görüşme yoluyla veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, incelenen ürünlerde en yüksek üretim masrafına sahip üretim dalının şeker pancarı (2 941.40 TL da-1) olduğu görülmektedir. Bununla birlikte en fazla gayri safi üretim değerine sahip üretim dalı yine şeker pancarıdır (3 176.37 TL da-1). Bu beş üretim dalının dekara kârlılıkları karşılaştırıldığında dekara en fazla getirisi olan üretim dalının şeker pancarı (237.44 TL da-1) ve bunu sırasıyla yeşil mercimek (146.83 TL da-1), buğday (80.21 TL da-1) nohut (74.42 TL da-1) ve arpa (47.89 TL da-1) üretim dallarının takip ettiği görülmektedir. Birim sermayeye karşılık elde edilen gelire bakıldığında, en yüksek getiri 1.30 ile yeşil mercimeğe aittir. Bu sonuç, yeşil mercimek üretiminde 1 TL'lik maliyete karşılık 0.30 TL kâr elde edildiği anlamına gelmektedir. Bunu sırasıyla; nohut (1.15), buğday (1.13), arpa (1.09) ve şeker pancarı (1.08) takip etmektedir. Bölgede nohut ve mercimek ekim alanları son beş yılda önemli ölçüde artmıştır. Bu artışa karşılık diğer bölgeler ile karşılaştırıldığında potansiyeli yüksek olmasına rağmen verimin istenilen düzeyde olmadığı görülmektedir. Gelecek yıllarda prodüktivitenin artışına bağlı olarak verim artışının sağlanmasıyla birlikte oransal karlılığın artabileceği söylenebilir.

Conditions affecting lifestyles, such as long working hours, short break times, lack of cooking time and no cooking place for employees and students have an impact on changing their eating habits. This situation has led consumers to prefer products that can be consumed faster. University students are considered as significant customer potential by fast food sector. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the lifestyle and the reasons for choosing fast food of university students. The data were collected by conducting a survey with 347 students in Tekirdag Namik Kemal University. The data was analyzed statistically in terms of descriptive and inferential statistics. In this direction, factors related to fast food consumption are 4 factors (product features, space, accessibility, personal satisfaction) and lifestyles are collected under 6 factors (thinkers, experiencers, achievers, believers, innovators, makers). The relationship's existence is explained by using factor scores calculated by factor analysis in a multiple regression model. According to research findings, product features variable is effective in choosing fast food products by Thinkers. Accessibility variable is affective in choosing fast food products by people who have Experiencers lifestyle; space and personal satisfaction are affective on Achievers. Product features and space are affective in choosing fast food products by Innovators. When the findings are generally evaluated; the effects of lifestyle on the causes of fast food consumption seem to be significant.
Tarım işletmelerinin sürdürülebilirliğinde, sermaye miktarı kadar sermayenin rasyonel dağılımı da... more Tarım işletmelerinin sürdürülebilirliğinde, sermaye miktarı kadar sermayenin rasyonel dağılımı da oldukça önemlidir. İşletmelerin üretim sistemi ve tipine göre sermaye ihtiyacı ve kullanımı farklılık göstermekle beraber işletmelerin sermaye kullanım etkinliği, sermaye bileşenlerinin optimal dağılımı ile mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu noktadan hareketle Yozgat ilinde bitkisel üretim yapan tarım işletmelerinin sermaye kullanım etkinliklerini değerlendirmek amacıyla, 2021 yılı üretim dönemi için Tabakalı Tesadüfi Örnekleme Yöntemi ile belirlenen 137 adet tarım işletmesinden elde edilen veri seti kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, incelenen işletmelerde aktif ve pasif sermaye unsurlarının rasyonel dağılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Aktif sermaye içerisinde toprak varlığı (%49.78) ve alet makine varlığının (%21.39) önemli bir pay aldığı gözlenmiş ve öz sermayenin %84.56'lık oran ile beklenilenin oldukça üzerinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sermayedeki rasyonel olmayan bu dağılım işletmelerin rantabilite ve borç ödeme gücüne olumsuz bir şekilde yansımaktadır. Buna göre genel olarak işletmelerin kısa vadeli borç ödeme gücünün düşük olduğu, küçük ölçekli işletmelerde karlılığın negatif değer aldığı ve büyük ölçekli işletmelerin ise kaynaklarını atıl kullandığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bölgede bitkisel üretim yapan işletmelerin optimal sermaye dağılımını sağlayabilmelerinin, hayvancılık faaliyetlerine ağırlık vermeleri ve tarımda mekanizasyonu arttırmaları yoluyla mümkün olacağı söylenebilir.

Beekeeping is one of the most common agricultural activities in the world. In addition to the wor... more Beekeeping is one of the most common agricultural activities in the world. In addition to the world and human life, it is very important in the pollination and the efficiency of the plants. Beekeeping activities have been done since ancient times as the tradition of Anatolian people. In Turkey grows 75% of the honey plants species determined in the world. This provides a variety of honey in different aroma and flavors. Turkey with 7 796 666 beehives is in 3rd rank, with 114 471 tons of honey production is in 2nd rank and with 4 488 tons of beeswax production in 2017 is in 4th rank in the world bee products have an important role. It is important to determine future trends in developing appropriate policies for our country, which is one of the leading countries in beekeeping activities. The main aims of this study are to forecast honey and beeswax product in Turkey for 2019-2025. Arima model, which is one of the time series analysis, was used in this study. According to the results, it is expected that honey production will increase in these years. However, it is expected the increase in the production of beeswax until 2021. After 2021 year is expected to decrease a little. In our country which has great potential for beekeeping, it will be able to take place among the countries which have a significant influence in foreign trade with the effective use of production resources in the realization of activities.

That outcome is caused to find out the reasons which are variables related to beef prices. The target of this study is to clarify relationship of beef price and its independent variables with a regression model. Data analyzed with SPSS 23.0. Based on the model's equation, the independent variables which are average world beef unit price (USD), per capita beef consumption in Turkey (kg), government livestock incentives (TRY), consumer price index on beef (%), exchange rate (USD/TRY), real effective exchange rate (%) and gross domestic national product (%) are found as direct proportion with beef prices. On the other hand, poultry meat as an alternative to beef has inverse proportion with the prices.

People have different lifestyles that cause different needs and desires. Lifestyles influence peo... more People have different lifestyles that cause different needs and desires. Lifestyles influence people's purchasing behavior. Conditions affecting lifestyles, such as long working hours, short break times, lack of cooking time and no cooking place for employees and students have an impact on changing their eating habits. This situation has led consumers to prefer products that can be consumed faster. University students are considered as significant customer potential by fast food sector. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the lifestyle and the reasons for choosing fast food of university students. The data were collected by conducting a survey with 347 students in Tekirdag Namik Kemal University. The data was analyzed statistically in terms of descriptive and inferential statistics. In this direction, factors related to fast food consumption are 4 factors (product features, space, accessibility, personal satisfaction) and lifestyles are collected under 6 factors (thinkers, experiencers, achievers, believers, innovators, makers). The relationship's existence is explained by using factor scores calculated by factor analysis in a multiple regression model. Beekeeping is one of the most common agricultural activities in the world. In addition to the wor... more Beekeeping is one of the most common agricultural activities in the world. In addition to the world and human life, it is very important in the pollination and the efficiency of the plants. Beekeeping activities have been done since ancient times as the tradition of Anatolian people. In Turkey grows 75% of the honey plants species determined in the world. This provides a variety of honey in different aroma and flavors. Turkey with 7 796 666 beehives is in 3rd rank, with 114 471 tons of honey production is in 2nd rank and with 4 488 tons of beeswax production in 2017 is in 4th rank in the world bee products have an important role. It is important to determine future trends in developing appropriate policies for our country, which is one of the leading countries in beekeeping activities. The main aims of this study are to forecast honey and beeswax product in Turkey for 2019-2025. Arima model, which is one of the time series analysis, was used in this study. According to the results, it is expected that honey production will increase in these years. However, it is expected the increase in the production of beeswax until 2021. After 2021 year is expected to decrease a little. In our country which has great potential for beekeeping, it will be able to take place among the countries which have a significant influence in foreign trade with the effective use of production resources in the realization of activities.

Beef prices in Turkey is increased for long time. That outcome is caused to find out the reasons ... more Beef prices in Turkey is increased for long time. That outcome is caused to find out the reasons which are variables related to beef prices. The target of this study is to clarify relationship of beef price and its independent variables with a regression model. Data analyzed with SPSS 23.0. Based on the model's equation, the independent variables which are average world beef unit price (USD), per capita beef consumption in Turkey (kg), government livestock incentives (TRY), consumer price index on beef (%), exchange rate (USD/TRY), real effective exchange rate (%) and gross domestic national product (%) are found as direct proportion with beef prices. On the other hand, poultry meat as an alternative to beef has inverse proportion with the prices.
