Salah satu dampak lingkungan yang cukup mengkhawatirkan ialah terjadinya perubahan penggunaan lah... more Salah satu dampak lingkungan yang cukup mengkhawatirkan ialah terjadinya perubahan penggunaan lahan yang cukup massif terhadap lahan ABSTRAK Pengadaan tanah skala besar Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) membawa pengaruh terhadap aspek fisik, lingkungan, sosial, ekonomi maupun budaya. Kajian ini bertujuan melakukan pemetaan perubahan penggunaan lahan yang terjadi akibat pembangunan Bandara YIA. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara spasial, penggunaan lahan diperoleh melalui interpretasi citra melalui pendekatan Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Data yang digunakan untuk monitoring pola perubahan penggunaan lahan ialah citra satelit Sentinel-2 Tahun 2015 dan 2019. Hasil kajian menunjukkan perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Temon, Pengasih, dan Wates, perubahan tertinggi terjadi pada kebun campur hingga mencapai luasan 910 Ha, sementara perubahan lahan sawah mencapai 289,44 Ha. Tingginya alih fungsi lahan pertanian ini dapat berimplikasi terhadap transformasi matapencaharian penduduk yang sebelumnya menggantungkan hidup pada sektor agraris. Monitoring perubahan penggunaan lahan yang dilakukan berkala harapannya menjadi dasar dalam melakukan pengendalian pertanahan dan pemanfaatan ruang.

Kondisi ini diantaranya dipengaruhi karena masih rendahnya pemahaman/kesadaran sebagian masyarakat terhadap administrasi pertanahan serta belum optimalnya pemeliharaan dan pemanfaatan tanah. Pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan di Desa Girikarto bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat terkait pertanahan sehingga mampu menekan angka permasalahan pertanahan serta mewujudkan tertib administrasi pertanahan. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelayanan klinik pertanahan kepada perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan perwakilan masyarakat dengan jumlah 30 orang. Hasil kajian menunjukkan dengan kegiatan ini maka sebagian besar peserta memahami aspek pendaftaran tanah, memiliki kesadaran terhadap arti pentingnya mendaftarkan tanah, memiliki kesadaran untuk mengurus dan memelihara tanahnya untuk mencegah terjadinya permasalahan pertanahan. Dengan kegiatan ini maka masyarakat memperoleh solusi terhadap permasalahan pertanahan yang dihadapi serta meningkatkan peran masyarakat dalam mewujudkan tertib pertanahan.

The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is targeting... more The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is targeting the realization of the valid complete village map. This strategic program is carried out by mapping all land parcels including physical and juridical data so that an accurate land database can be created. This study aimed to analyze collaborations of three stakeholders: Land Office, City/Regency Government, and Village Government in realizing the complete village map. This study was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. Data collection was conducted in three ways: interview, secondary data, and observation field. Data analysis was carried out spatially on the main data and supporting data for the complete village map. The results of the study show that collaboration and data sharing (land registration maps, land value zone map, PBB block map, Regional Spatial Planning (Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah-RTRW) map, and detailed Village Letter C map) between the three stakeholders are important variables for building the complete village. This study proves that the collaboration of the three stakeholders is able to accelerate the realization of a complete village database with results that match the requirements and criteria set by the Ministry of ATR/BPN. In addition, the data integration that was carried out can be used to create a one data village, which is expected to be able to provide input for the government in formulating policies.

Untuk melaksanakan kegiatan percepataan penyelesaian penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan guna mengurangi konflik, pemanfaatan citra penginderaan jauh untuk mengenali obyek khususnya pemukiman/desa yang masuk dalam kawasan hutan perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif dengan analisis spasial. Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan survei dan wawancara terhadap pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra penginderaan jauh dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat pekerjaan inventarisasi penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan, dapat menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi terkait aspek spasial dan dapat menjadi bahan usulan awal dalam mengajukan lokasi pelaksanaan inventarisasi dan verifikasi penguasaan tanah kawasan hutan. Percepatan penyelesaian penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan dengan memanfaatkan citra penginderaan jauh ini diharapkan dapat menekan tingginya konflik tenurial dan menjadi bahan dalam pengusulan tanah obyek reforma agraria. This research was conducted through qualitative methods with spatial analysis. To obtain data, surveys and interviews were conducted with related parties. The results showed that remote sensing images can simplify and accelerate the work of land tenure inventory in forest areas, can solve various problems that occur related to spatial aspects and can be the initial proposal in submitting the location of the implementation of the inventory and verification of control of forest area land. The acceleration of the settlement of land tenure in forest areas by utilizing remote sensing imagery is expected to reduce the high tenure conflict and become a material in proposing the object of land for agrarian reform.

Coastal communities are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This study aime... more Coastal communities are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This study aimed to review the impact of land use change and mangrove degradation on coastal areas and analyze the problems and strategies of mangrove management in Indonesia. Journal data sources were obtained from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method was used in the study. The results indicate that economic activities such as mining, industry, and ponds are the main cause of mangrove damage, which in turn leads to increased disasters, CO2 emissions, and decreased community income. To address this issue, mangrove management strategies that take into account social, economic, and environmental factors are necessary. Successful mangrove restoration requires increased inclusion, community capacity, budgeting, and stakeholder involvement. Government policies regulating sustainable spatial planning, law enforcement, and institutional frameworks are crucial components of mangrove management. The study's results are expected to serve as the foundation for developing sustainable coastal management strategies that enhance the safety of coastal communities from disasters and improve their welfare.

Massive land use changes in forest areas, peatlands, mangroves, and greenways result in an increase in CO2 release. This research aimed to analyze the impact of land use changes on the value of carbon stock study around Yogyakarta International Airport. The data used were Pleiades images in 2014, 2018 and 2022. Image analysis was carried out visually to produce detailed and accurate land use classification. Meanwhile, multitemporal map overlays were carried out to find out land use changes. Changes in carbon stock were obtained from the land use formula multiplied by the value of the Greenhouse Gas Constant (GGC). The results showed that the construction of an airport and its supporting infrastructure triggered land use changes that had implications for the decreasing carbon stock. The decrease in the area of vegetation cover in fields, community plantations, and mixed plantations from 2014 to 2022, amounting to-640.99 ha, increased carbon emissions. The results of the analysis showed that there had been changes in carbon stock. In 2014, the value was 150,286.57 t C/ha; in 2018, it decreased to 136,631.56 t C/ha; and in 2022, it reduced to 133,554.36 t C/ha. Massive economic activity and infrastructure development trigger reduced vegetation cover, resulting in increased carbon and increased carbon being released into the atmosphere. The problem of land conversion that affects changes in carbon stock and impacts on climate change requires mitigation, among which is by proper land use management and sustainable spatial planning.

This study used spatial analysis through overlay to map land use changes in Kulon Progo Regency. Land use maps were obtained from Sentinel images in 2015 and 2021. Kurangnya ruang terbuka hijau yang tersedia di Kalurahan Caturtunggal memiliki beberapa efek lanjutan, termasuk penurunan kualitas udara, degradasi lingkungan serta kurangnya ruang sosial masyarakat untuk bermain dan berinteraksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan gagasan memaksimalkan penggunaan sempadan sungai dan selokan Mataram dalam rangka menyediakan lebih banyak ruang terbuka hijau. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen untuk mengkaji pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan ruang terbuka hijau pada sempadan sungai dan selokan Mataram. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, dan wawancara mendalam dengan pemangku kepentingan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat yang tinggal di sepanjang selokan Mataram mampu memperbaiki ruang terbuka hijau untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ruang terbuka hijau yang sangat rendah di Kalurahan Caturtunggal. Berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan, masyarakat sekitar diperbolehkan menggunakan sempadan selokan Mataran dan sempadan sungai, kecuali bangunan yang bersifat permanen. Namun demikian, karena kurangnya sosialisasi dari pemerintah daerah dan pengetahuan masyarakat secara keseluruhan, maka tidak semua sempadan sungai dan selokan Mataram dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Dengan memaksimalkan partisipasi masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah untuk menggunakan dan memanfaatakan sempadan sungai dan selokan Mataram diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah dan kualitas ruang terbuka hijau serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

The management of land use is a significant factor in maintaining the equilibrium of carbon stock... more The management of land use is a significant factor in maintaining the equilibrium of carbon stocks. However, the expansion of infrastructure, mining, industry, trade, economic activity and population has resulted in significant changes to land use, which have led to a reduction in carbon stock reserves. The objective of this study was to map the level of carbon stock reserves and to analyse the variable driving forces of carbon stock change. The variables used in this study encompass 21 distinct types, including: socioeconomic , physical, locational, land and spatial planning aspects. The dependent variable comprises the level of carbon stock by land use type in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Spatial regression analysis was employed to ascertain the driving forces that exert a predominant influence on alterations in carbon stock reserves. The results of the spatial regression analysis between the dependent and independent variables yielded a highly significant correlation, as indicated by the R-square value exceeding 0.09. This condition is influenced by the use of complex and comprehensive variables, as well as the use of spatial regression which is able to analyse between variables by considering spatial aspects. The results of the analysis demonstrate that location variables (city centre, airport and road accessibility), physical variables (relative relief) and land variables (land title status) are the most dominant variables. The analysis of the driving force of carbon stock change represents a crucial aspect of land use management and the control of land use change from areas with high to low carbon stock. In order to maintain the balance of carbon stock reserves, it is essential to optimise mangrove areas and implement reforestation initiatives in forest areas.

Data were extracted from journals in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases using the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) method. The review demonstrates that modelling land use predictions is a complex matter that involves land use maps and driving forces. AI technology can support land use forecasting by interpreting land use data, analyzing drivers, and modeling. However, AI has limitations in terms of broad contextual understanding and algorithmic errors. To anticipate this, it is necessary to select the appropriate image resolution and interpretation method in accordance with digital data segmentation. It is also recommended to use spatial regression methods to determine the driving forces that affect land use. Hybrid models such as multilayer perceptron neural network Markov chain (MLPNN-MC), random forest algorithm (RFA), and cellular automata (CA)-Markov chain (MC) are recommended for modelling. The selection of a model should be based on the data's characteristics and tested for accuracy. The use of AI for land use prediction modelling is expected to provide accurate predictions that can be used as a basis for land use policy.

Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) and supporting infrastructure in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogy... more Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) and supporting infrastructure in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta, aims to encourage economic growth and support the tourism, industrial, trade, and education sectors. This study aimed to monitor the pattern of changes in land use that occurred after the construction of the YIA, especially in the agricultural sector. The quantitative method with spatial analysis through overlay was chosen to produce multitemporal land use change maps (2018 and 2022). The preparation of the land use map was carried out through the visual interpretation of Pleiades satellite imagery with a spatial resolution of 0.5 m. The results of the study showed that there had been a very massive change in land use in the Temon Subdistrict, especially in relation to the decrease in the area of agricultural land. The impact of the construction of the airport and its supporting infrastructure in the Temon Sub-district had resulted in a reduction of 21.24 hectares of rice fields. Land use from agricultural land had mostly changed to the construction of YIA, infrastructure development, and built-up land (settlements, hotels, restaurants, trade, and services). The increasingly massive decrease in the area of agricultural in the study area needs attention from the government so that the existence of agricultural land remains sustainable, considering that most people depend on the agricultural sector for their lives.

Tourism development, especially on the coast of Gunungkidul, has a significant impact on various ... more Tourism development, especially on the coast of Gunungkidul, has a significant impact on various aspects of community life. This study aims to analyse the socioeconomic impacts of tourism development and to analysis tourism development strategies in Girikarto Village. The research method is descriptive qualitative, mapping the development of tourism potential based on SWOT analysis (Strenghtening, Weakness, Opportunity and Threads). Data collection was conducted through observation and in-depth interviews with business actors, Pokdarwis, the community, local government, and village officials. The results of the study show that tourism is able to absorb labour, improve the community's economy, create business opportunities and also change the employment patterns of people who previously worked outside the area back to settle in the original village. Tourism has implications for improving the skills, education, and lifestyle of the community. In addition to bringing positive impacts, some negative impacts of tourism are environmental degradation, reduced vegetation cover, changes in karst morphology, increased congestion, pollution and waste problems. Tourism development strategies can be done through optimising community involvement in tourism (CBT/CommunityBased Tourism), increasing community capacity and optimising the role of stakeholders to promote sustainable and equitable tourism for the community and the environment.

Kondisi ini diantaranya dipengaruhi karena masih rendahnya pemahaman/kesadaran sebagian masyarakat terhadap administrasi pertanahan serta belum optimalnya pemeliharaan dan pemanfaatan tanah. Pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan di Desa Girikarto bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat terkait pertanahan sehingga mampu menekan angka permasalahan pertanahan serta mewujudkan tertib administrasi pertanahan. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelayanan klinik pertanahan kepada perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan perwakilan masyarakat dengan jumlah 30 orang. Hasil kajian menunjukkan dengan kegiatan ini maka sebagian besar peserta memahami aspek pendaftaran tanah, memiliki kesadaran terhadap arti pentingnya mendaftarkan tanah, memiliki kesadaran untuk mengurus dan memelihara tanahnya untuk mencegah terjadinya permasalahan pertanahan. Dengan kegiatan ini maka masyarakat memperoleh solusi terhadap permasalahan pertanahan yang dihadapi serta meningkatkan peran masyarakat dalam mewujudkan tertib pertanahan.
