The study includes the determination of the most stable adsorbate/adsorbent configurations of the species associated with subsequent reactions and generating the energy surface for 𝐶𝐻4 dissociation process. The Rhdecorated Ni(100) surface was found to be more favorable for the process than the NiRh(111) configuration, mainly due to lower the activation energy of 𝐶𝐻 decomposition reaction by 48.5%, leading to a higher conversion of 𝐶𝐻4 to carbon and hydrogen

Published second virial coefficient data were used to fit a simple two-parameter temperature-dependent model for the interaction parameters. The simulations were carried out in the temperature range 120-190 K. The critical density and temperature were evaluated using Ising-scaling model. Using the temperature-dependent interaction parameters in the simulation has reduced the root mean square deviation by 94.7% compared to the temperature-independent interaction parameters. The evaluated critical temperature was enhanced using temperature-dependent interaction parameters, whereas the simulations using temperature-independent interaction parameters predict a better critical density value.

We prove that this statement holds for $n=5$.

It is a deadly virus that forced the world into a near total lock down and it has claimed millions of lives round the world. The oil price reaction to COVID-19 was stable and accommodating up until March 22 nd , 2020 after the release of the first coronavirus monitoring report by the World Health Organization (WHO). Not long after Saudi Arabia floods the market with oil, as a result, international prices drop with more than 20% in one single day. Against this background, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of COVID-19 figures on crude oil prices. The pandemic has negatively influenced on education, economy, religious worship, sporting activities, social gatherings, banking activities, and others. The state governments, military, NGO, federal government, individuals, and religious bodies provided and donated palliatives to cushion the effects of the pandemic on the populace.

A cross-sectional quantitative design in two States in Nigeria was adopted. Structured interviews were conducted with 114 frontline health workers. Bivariate analysis and multivariate regression analysis were carried out to explore relationships between the satisfaction of frontline health workers with the financial incentives received and their productivity in rural settings as well as the extent of any such relationships. Results Bivariate analysis demonstrated a statistically significant relationship (P = 0.013) between satisfaction with incentives received by frontline health workers and their productivity in rural settings. When other predictors were controlled for within a multivariate regression...

In the germinability, quality seeds were obtained considering the vigor of seeds as analyzed under different textural classes of soil samples. The highest sample found within 0-2, 15 and 30cm was sandy with a Mean percentage (%) 50.67 (SE ±0.30), organic matter, moisture content; pH, density and cat ion exchange capacity (CEC) were all analyzed. The mean composition of mineral nutrients in a triplicate soil samples collected was recorded highest in Mg (0.076%), N (0.050%) and Ca (0.034%) respectively. Each fruit pod contains 2-4 seeds black spindle shaped and measured about 1-2cm. 1000 seeds yielded 577.4g and a total of 300 seeds (85.7%) sank when immersed in water and were considered viable, while 50 seeds (14.3%) were considered non viable. each with a mean weight of 0.5774g. The investigations on the volume of oil extracted revealed that 2.50kg lit...

The study employs both primary and secondary sources as a method of data collection. The study reveals that that national interest should come first before any collective ones. The process which decisions are made is only determined by self-serving interests of those who possess power in the international system. The realist school of thought provides the critical opinions propounded by various political science scholars on power politics and national interest in the international system. According to Hans Morgenthau a classical realist scholar, society has to be governed generally by objective laws which are rooted in human nature. To him theory is necessary so that to bring order in the international politi...

Its persistence in the form of fraud, mismanagement, misappropriation, diversion of public funds, tax evasion, money laundering etc. has led Nigeria into unfortunate national and even international circle of criminal minded persons. This therefore has made the development of the country and its attendant benefits only a paper work or rather an illusion. This paper conceptualizes corruption beyond the point of public officers taking bribes and gratification, committing fraud, stealing public funds and assets to equally include, deliberate violation of standards for gainful ends which may be in cash or kind. It therefore, encompasses any decision, act or conduct that is considered pervasive to democratic norms and values. The method utilized by this work is incidence analysis and documentary research. The paper which is divided into five sections concluded that, only anti-corruption policies and programs anchor...

This paper studies the role of contemporary Islamic movements towards social and political change... more This paper studies the role of contemporary Islamic movements towards social and political changes of the 21st century. Contemporary Islamic movements is a modern phenomenon; it is rooted in the historically and spatially recurring cyclical phenomena of "reform" (Islah) and "renewal" (Tajdid) which provide the models and symbols that link modernity to authentic elements of Islamic teachings. The study employs secondary source as a method of data collection. Based on these past rejuvenations, contemporary Islamic scholars are interacts with modern cultural, social, political and religious circumstances. While emphasizing the Unitarian and Universalistic character of Islam, it is also coloured by local variations. Some observers see Islamic movement as part of a trend in contemporary Islam toward a more orthodox and doctrinally homogeneous type of religion based on the sacred source-texts. This trend views local expressions of Islam as deviations from orthodoxy and...

The study employs secondary source as a method ofdata collection. The study reveals that the patriarchal system and male domination of the society, which relegates women to subordinate role, has created women’s inferiority complex and alienated them from the mainstream politics in Nigeria. The Nigerian political culture of thuggery and gangsterism has made the political terrain too dangerous for most women to venture into mainstream politics. Besides, the stigmatization of women politicians by fellow women discourages the political participation of the former while religious beliefs and institutional arrangements that restrict women to family responsibilities in the country coupled with lack of genuine and decisive a...

The study investigates the contribution of health in the process of poverty reduction by various governments in Nigeria. The study employs secondary source as a methods of data collection. The study reveals that health sector reform involves more than just improvement in health or health care. It is a process motivated by the need to address fundamental deficiencies in health care systems that affect all health care services. Health sector reform in Nigeria is based on the poor health status of the population and the poor rating of the health system itself. The study reveals that Nigerian health status was ranked 187 out of 191 countries by WHO in 2000. The infant mortality rate, the under-five mortality rate and the maternal mortality ratio are some of the indicators that are often used to compare health status of populations. Nigeria’s figure...
