Digital forensics, a field pivotal in the scientific examination and analysis of digital device d... more Digital forensics, a field pivotal in the scientific examination and analysis of digital device data, has escalated in relevance as technology becomes ubiquitous. This research offers a detailed examination of the multifarious challenges confronting forensic practitioners, categorized into technical, procedural, organizational, and human aspects. Employing a multifaceted approach that includes a comprehensive literature review and case study analysis, this study elucidates the dynamic and evolving nature of these obstacles. Technical challenges, including the overwhelming data volumes and the complexities associated with IoT and mobile device forensics, are shown to significantly hinder effective data extraction and analysis. Procedural challenges are characterized by issues in standardization, inter-agency collaboration, and legal ambiguities, while organizational challenges encompass budgetary constraints, the need for reliable tool validation, and maintaining an unbroken chain of custody. Human factors also introduce significant variability and potential for error in forensic investigations. The study's findings indicate that these challenges are interrelated and require a cohesive approach to address. It concludes by proposing a series of integrated solutions and best practices aimed at mitigating these challenges. These include the adoption of advanced analytical tools, the development of universal procedural standards, enhanced training and resources for forensic practitioners, and a greater emphasis on ethical considerations.

With the rapid evolution of cyber threats, social engineering attacks have become increasingly so... more With the rapid evolution of cyber threats, social engineering attacks have become increasingly sophisticated, leveraging human vulnerabilities to bypass traditional security measures. While many conventional defense mechanisms have been overwhelmed, Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers a promising avenue to detect, prevent, and respond to these emerging threats. This research analyzes the intricacies of contemporary social engineering attacks, from their methods of deployment to their recent adaptations, such as leveraging social media and mobile apps. By contrasting prior solutions with the potential of AI-based defenses, we highlight the key role of machine learning in behavioral pattern recognition, Natural Language Processing's (NLP) efficacy in identifying phishing attempts, and predictive analytics' power to anticipate future attack vectors. Through detailed case studies, we showcase realworld scenarios where AI mechanisms have successfully countered social engineering ploys. The findings reveal that AIenhanced mechanisms significantly improve the identification and mitigation of social engineering threats. Specifically, AIdriven behavioral analytics effectively detect subtle, manipulative cues indicative of phishing and other deceitful tactics, considerably reducing the incidence of successful attacks. Furthermore, predictive analytics has shown great promise in forecasting and preemptively countering potential cyber threats, In addition, while effective, AI tools must evolve with the changing tactics of cyber threats, Continuous learning and updating are necessary to maintain and improve accuracy and effectiveness.

When products or companies advertise on the social network, they expect that their product or advertisement reaches its target. Social networks is a hot research topic that has received great interest in the recent years due to its wide spreading and influence on organizations that advertise on the social network. In this research, the study proposed a theoretical framework that uses a genetic algorithm to enhance marketing and advertising by calculating the fitness function value for each member; the two factors used are the features provided by each member and the path between community’s members, and then it displays a list of suggested suitable advertisement. The main advantage behind the presented framework is to enhance the marketing and advertising in social networks communities to provide the maximum profit for the advertiser and provide the users with the advertisements suitable for their interests. Key words: Social network, marketing strategy, advertising, genetic algorithm, fitness functions.

This study introduces two contributions. Firstly, an improved version of the Multi-verse Optimizer called Testing Multi-Verse Optimizer (TMVO) is proposed, which takes into account the movement of the swarm and the mean of the two best solutions in the universe. The particles move towards the optimal solution by using a mean-based algorithm model, which guarantees efficient exploration and exploitation. Secondly, TMVO is applied to automatically develop test cases for structural data testing, particularly path testing. Instead of automating the entire testing process, the focus is on centralizing automated procedures for collecting testing data. Automation for generating testing data is becoming increasingly popular due to the high cost of manual data generation. To evaluate the effectiveness of TMVO, it was tested on various well-known functions as well as five programs that presented unique challenges in testing. The test results indicated that TMVO performed better than the original MVO algorithm on the majority of the tested functions.

A sample of 150 students who have taken blended course have been chosen to complete a questionnaire that includes aspects of knowledge and attitude towards blended learning. The results of the study showed that Blended learning is beneficial to students, and most students understand the goals of e-learning by Blended learning fully. The students generally showed a positive attitude towards Blended learning. In addition, they have shown sufficient information on the area of Blended learning and to determine when and how to use the tools they are provided with in combination. It also found that blended learning is more effective to develop and improve knowledge and skills than conventional methods of teaching. The findings also showed that Blended research online tools help students to gain insight and improve their skills and that their roles in their own learning process have a huge impact on student lives.

The algorithm makes a contribution to optimization field by providing better strategy for finding the global minimal value, enhancing exploration and exploitation features, speeding up the converge rate over the tested benchmark optimization problems. The results show that combining SCA and ME with PSO in a new hybrid algorithm called PSE. However, the new algorithm overcome the drawbacks of PSO and it effectively solve high dimensional optimization problems. PSE algorithm is being applied in order to enhance robot path planning, robots can find a high efficiency specification objective when powered by hybrid algorithm. The objective of optimization is to reduce the path lengths to target. Autonomous path planning is necessary to prevent obstacles during the motion of robot. The result show that the algorithm proposed...

Jordan has implemented strict nationwide control measures to halt the viral spread, one of which was the closure of universities and shifting to remote teaching. The impact of this pandemic could extend beyond the risk of physical harm to substantial psychological consequences. Our study aimed at assessing 1) psychological status, 2) challenges of distance teaching, and 3) coping activities and pandemic-related concerns among university teachers in Jordan in the midst of COVID-19-related quarantine and control measures. We conducted a cross-sectional study using an anonymous online survey. The measure of psychological distress was obtained using a validated Arabic version of the Kessler Distress Scale (K10). Other information collected included sociodemographic profile, methods used to handle distress, motivation to participate in distance teaching, and challenges of distance teaching as well as the most worrisome issues during this pandemic. Three hundred eighty-two university teachers returned completed surveys. Results of K10 showed that 31.4% of respondents had severe distress and 38.2% had mild to moderate distress. Whereas gender was not associated with distress severity, age had a weak negative correlation (Rho = −0.19, P < 0.0001). Interestingly, most teachers had moderate to high motivation for distance teaching. Engagement with family was the most reported self-coping activity. More than half of the participants were most concerned and fearful about SARS-CoV-2 infection. In conclusion, university teachers have shown to exhibit various levels of psychological distress and challenges during the implementation of precautionary national measures in the battle against COVID-19 in Jordan.
