However, along with the economic growth, the initial potential sectors such as mining and excavation showed a significant decrease between 2017 and 2020. Meanwhile, the mining and excavation sector used to be the biggest contribution to the economic development of Bengkalis. This research aims to analyze the driving sectors in raising the domestic and foreign investment in Bengkalis Regency. The research is an explanatory research to explain the relationship and influence of research variables in the GRDP sector on domestic investment and foreign capital. The analysis used multiple regression by SPSS software and regional economic analyses. The result indicated that the domestic investment is affected by secondary sectors, while the foreign investment is affected by the secondary and tertiary sectors.

Most of low income people are living in Urban Villages. Urban village generally located in the heart city and at the same times makes the city more compex and congested, crowded, polluted and unable to accommodate and perform the needs of housing provision. This conditions lowering the settlement quality. Moreover, the majority on housing delivery system in Indonesia administered by individual plans and lack of access to a proper resources. This research aims to analyze the level of participation and formulating the strategy to increase human settlement quality. This research adopted quantitative descriptive analysis by multiple regression and tribina analysis. The result showed that the level of participation in Kampung Bandung Kidul with Zero Waste program are still low and because below than 50% citizen participated in prepadness, planning, implementation and evaluation and benefit. Otherwise, In Kampung Dago Pojok, the level of community participation are in medium and above 50% of community participated on Youth Creativity Kampung. Tribina analysis adopted to formulate the strategy of participation in both urban villages to improve the housing quality.

Siak regency, particularly the central area of the capital city has grown rapidly, while its hinterland in the eastern part, lags behind. The reasons behind this widening development gap include the increased exploitation of resources by the capital city, rapid urbanization, agglomeration of educated and skilled workforces in the city center, high proportion of constrained land, centralization of economic activities and low mobility of goods and services. This backwash effect makes the eastern area of Siak Regency lag behind. The methods used in this research are policy development analysis and institutional linkage analysis. The strategy was carried out from institutional capacity through development scenario based on local economic development and regional cluster concepts. Customary land tenure associated with land administration systems have begun to receive attention... more Customary land tenure associated with land administration systems have begun to receive attention through research. A recent study discusses the practice of land release to gain insight into the forces that underpin transformation of customary land rights. However, few studies address the ability to negotiate and adapt to customary land tenure. This study fills this gap, especially the utilisation of Bengkok land as village-owned land and explores the knowledge that drives changes in customary land management rights in Indrokilo sub-village. Data were collected through surveys and interviews addressed to respondents as Bengkok land users and key actors. The results of the study indicate that the change in Bengkok Bayan's land management rights to collective rights of farmer groups has been affected by four conditions, namely: the vacancy of the village official (Bayan), the village land leasing system, sanitation programme socialisation, and resident participation. The aspirations of the farmer groups are accommodated by the village government in the form of a village head's decree and the terms of land rent compensation. Adaptation of farmers, farmer groups and village government is manifested in the form of land use arrangements as Kandang kawasan (cattle pen), separation of cattle pens and houses, as well as Bengkok land rental systems. Changing the Bengkok land management rights for communal interests requires legal strengthening through regional regulations in order to recognise the existence of farmer groups, promote justice, and reduce poverty for the sustainability of suburban area development.

Seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat, maka hal ini mendorong terjadinya peningkatan kebutuhan akan berbagai infrastruktur di kawasan perkotaan. Sehingga, diperlukan adanya kajian dari fungsi dan peran dari masing-masing kota/kabupaten terhadap penyelenggaraan Metropolitan Cirebon Raya (MCR) yang berperan dalam memberikan pelayanan skala pusat dan nasional agar terciptanya pembangunan Metropolitan Cirebon Raya yang menunjukkan integritas dan sinergitas dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan.
