This quantitative study is aimed to evaluate the causes and effects of academic dishonesty in gra... more This quantitative study is aimed to evaluate the causes and effects of academic dishonesty in grades 9 and 10 students of Siena College of Taytay. This research presented the causes and effects of academic dishonesty based on the Data responses from grades 9 and 10 students. The survey was based on collected related literature and was conducted through google forms that are distributed through the messenger app to the grades 9 and 10 students of Siena College of Taytay. The statistical tools that were used are frequency and percentage and weighted mean. Based on the results of the survey, most of the students that engage in academic dishonesty are due to performance anxiety or fear of failing, and most of the students that engage in academic dishonesty make it habitual. This study has a limited number of respondents that is 180 respondents, that are all from grades 9 and 10 combined. Due to insufficient time, this research contains limited studies which can be enhanced by future research.
